Turkey Talk!!

Hi everyone! Welcome to my new followers!
This week at Jitterbuggin', Sketch 24, Let's Talk Turkey, the feature is the turkey! We are to follow the sketch, add a Cricut turkey, and add a button or two or three---
For my turkey, I used the Cricut Cartridge Create a Critter cutting it at 3 inches. To add dimension, I embossed the turkey with the Cuttlebug folders Swiss Dots and Houndstooth. Added a bow and eyes from my stash. Hmm, maybe this dressed up turkey does not realize what is for lunch!!
For the sentiment, I used Lacy Labels for Thanks and the scallop backgrounds.
Reminded of words to a beautiful Thanksgiving song we sing at church, I used the Script cuttlebug folder to emboss the background mat. May we all be reminded daily of our many blessings!!

I recently bought the pretty paper at HL...thought it would be perfect for this card, but almost covered it! Cannot see the cute turkey that is also printed on the paper!!

Challenges:
Jitterbuggin' - Turkey, buttons
BBTB2       - Give Thanks / Thanks
Frosted Designs - Thanks / Thankful
Paper Cutz -   Thanksgiving project--using buttons and bows
Gaby Abby Challenges with SEI - Fall/Harvest theme

Hope you enjoy! Thank you for your comments!

  10. What an adorable little Turkey Glenda and maybe you can see it in your heart to spare the little gobbler, lol! I bet he would be "Very THANKFUL", hee hee! I also know what you mean about using your pretty paper and then covering it up, I have the hardest time using my pretty paper, I think I'm a hoarder when it comes to pretty paper, lol! Thanks for joining in this week at BBTB2!
