My Teddy Bear

I would like to say Welcome to my new followers and to all my followers Thank You for your support!!

Who does not like teddy bears? Sunday was National American Teddy Bear Day. Sheri at My Sheri Crafts asked us to add a teddy bear to our project this week.

Using RAQ'S Inspirational Challenge 11/17-11/23 sketch 3, I started with a 5 x 6 1/2 white cardstock card.
Recently I received a gift certificate to Paper Wishes from Fantabulous Cricut for the winning barn card entry in the challenge. I am using some of the pretty Hot Off The Press Floral Backsground paper pad that I chose. Thanks again Fantabulous Cricut and Paper Wishes! The paper is so pretty that I hesitated to cut it, but I am pleased with the results! Are you like me and have beautiful paper that you can not cut!!

My little pink bear is cut from Cricut Cartridge Christmas Noel at 2 3/4 inches. Ovals are cut from Lacey Labels. I used Martha Stewart Swirling Lace punch on bottom of the designer paper. I was delighted to find this punch on clearance last weekend!! To continue the dot theme, I embossed the white background with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots.

Hope you enjoy my Teddy Bear!! Thanks for your comments!

Turkey Talk!!

Hi everyone! Welcome to my new followers!
This week at Jitterbuggin', Sketch 24, Let's Talk Turkey, the feature is the turkey! We are to follow the sketch, add a Cricut turkey, and add a button or two or three---
For my turkey, I used the Cricut Cartridge Create a Critter cutting it at 3 inches. To add dimension, I embossed the turkey with the Cuttlebug folders Swiss Dots and Houndstooth. Added a bow and eyes from my stash. Hmm, maybe this dressed up turkey does not realize what is for lunch!!
For the sentiment, I used Lacy Labels for Thanks and the scallop backgrounds.
Reminded of words to a beautiful Thanksgiving song we sing at church, I used the Script cuttlebug folder to emboss the background mat. May we all be reminded daily of our many blessings!!

I recently bought the pretty paper at HL...thought it would be perfect for this card, but almost covered it! Cannot see the cute turkey that is also printed on the paper!!

Challenges:
Jitterbuggin' - Turkey, buttons
BBTB2       - Give Thanks / Thanks
Frosted Designs - Thanks / Thankful
Paper Cutz -   Thanksgiving project--using buttons and bows
Gaby Abby Challenges with SEI - Fall/Harvest theme

Hope you enjoy! Thank you for your comments!
