Winter Frolic Skater

Good morning everyone! The day has arrived!! I am so happy to share my card made for my first challenge as a Paper Playtime Queen!
Our challenge this week is to use Faces on our project. I am using the Snow Cuties 1 1/8 from our sponsor this week Peachy Keen Stamps.  I love these stamps! Making a winter card, I chose the girl skater on page 40 of Cricut Winter Frolic. The cut is 4 1/4 inches, a size that I thought was ok for the size of the face stamp after I slightly offset the placement of the cap. Using the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder, I embossed her pink jacket and cap.
The card is 6 1/2 X 5 white cardstock. Each of the pink side strips is cut 2 X 5 inches and embossed with the Snowflakes folder. The white mat is cut 5 X 5 inches and layered with the printed word paper which is cut 4 3/4 X 5. I added a couple of snowflakes also from Winter Frolic page 28 which are cut 1 1/4 and 1 3/4 inches.
Doesn't the little skater look happy! Maybe she is smiling at those pink snowflakes!!

Inside the card, I added more cuts from page 40 of Winter Frolic. Winter Wonderland is the phrase feature cut at 2 inches. The little girl skaters is the border feature cut at 1 1/4 inches. Martha Stewart Aspen Snowflake punch is used on the corners.
Winter Folic is a great cartridge. Beacuse it was so close to Christmas when I bought it, I have made only a few cards with it. I am enjoying it and all the different features!

Hope you enjoy my card! I had so much fun making this one!
Now it is your turn to hop over to Paper Playtime and  check out the beautiful projects from all the talented Queens and leave some love! We would love to see your paper projects! You have until midnight EST Sunday Jan. 9 to play along and for the chance to win a great prize from our sponsor!

Thank you for visiting today! I appreciate your comments!
