Fantabulous Cricut Ch. 71 -- Let's Be Friends

Happy Monday everyone! I am so excited to be sharing my first design team project for Fantabulous Cricut. Challenge #71 is Let's Be Friends. When I first saw the challenge, my thoughts went to this cute image of the girls on Cricut A Child's Year cartridge. The card is 5" x 6 1/2" white cardstock and is layered with two designer papers from K&Company. The solid pink is from my stash!
All my cuts are from A Child's Year.
Girls cut 3"- page 65. I chose to ink the image rather than a shadow cut. Scallop circle is the tag on page 59 and is cut 3 1/2". I used the Cuttlebug folder Textile on the scallop mat to add dimension. I thought the girls should be holding the BFF balloon. This image was cut 3.25" and can be found on page 70.
Flowers are made with the Martha Stewart Layering Daisy punch using the patterned papers and pink paper. Layers are pop-dotted and a pink gemstone is used for the center. To finish the card, I hand cut corners for the top of card.
Hope you enjoy my card! Be sure to check out the FCCB design team's pretty projects. We look forward to seeing your projects! You have until midnight Sunday August 7 (mountain time) to link your projects.
