Double Twisted Easel Card

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!
I am happy to share my very first Double Twisted Easel Card. Yay! Another card style marked off my "To Do" list! Several tutorials can be found on You Tube. Thank you Kimmy for the video you share!
The card started with a 8" x 8" piece of dark green cardstock. I used a pretty shamrock paper for the layers. A different shade of green is used for the shamrocks and mat base.
Cricut Cartridges:
Simply Charmed - Page 32- Leprachaun 1 is cut 2.75". Page 33 Pot of Gold is cut at 2.75".
Elegant Edges - Page 62- Image Clover and shadow cut at 3.25".
Create a Critter - Page 58 - Phrase Lucky is cut 1".
A Child's Year - Page 31- Icon feature on shift for the Shamrock. It is cut 1".
Cuttlebug:
Script Folder used on the white mats behind the leprachaun and pot of gold.
Divine Swirls - Leprachaun's hair. Swiss Dots on the hat, jacket, and the black pot.

For a bit of interest, my little guy has green eyes. I placed a small piece of green paper under the eye cuts and added a bit of red for the mouth. He is pop-dotted for dimension. The shamrock is also pop-dotted and placed under his hand to look as though he is holding it!

The pot of gold is a bit large but don't we envision big pots of gold!! I also made a smaller version but decided to use the larger size. I think it resembles the rainbow fading in the distance! How do you like my gold! I used some Recollections gemstones!

I chose to use the clover image from Elegant Edges for its shape for the white and green mats. This piece is pop-dotted and is used to hold the two easel stands in place. Green buttons are from my stash. I used a white pen for the stitching on the word Lucky! Pretty gingham bows complete the look.
