My Sheri Crafts - Ch. 97

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

It is time for another fun challenge at My Sheri Crafts! In observance of Mother-in-Law Day (Oct. 28), our design team sister Sue asked us to create a card using Fall colors and 3 embellishments.
My card measures 5" x 6 1/2" from white cardstock. Patterned K&Company and the solid papers are scrap papers from previous projects. Always nice to get another project!

Cricut Cartridge:
Cindy Loo - Page 68 Font - Thinking of you is cut 1.5".
Cheery Lynn - French Pastry Doily and Doily Angel Wing
For my embellishments I used a handmade rosette left over from a previous project, a leaf button with the shank cut off and placed on a pop-dot, and the flower button in the rosette.
Simple card, but I like the results!

Visit My Sheri Crafts to see all the pretty projects by the design team and our guest designer! For more details, visit each designer's blog and leave a little a love! We enjoy reading your comments!
Now it is your turn to play along with us. Remember you must use Fall colors and 3 embellishments. Several Ooh la la awards will be given and one person will be chosen to be our next guest designer.

Thanks for your visits and comments!

BBTB2 - 3-D Halloween Treat Container

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Today begins a new challenge at BBTB2! Our talented design team sister Jeri asked up to create a 3-D Halloween Treat container using any Cricut cartridge. Several cartridges have 3D boxes. I have been playing with Wrap it Up and chose the cute pumpkin box for my project.
Purple Recollection paper was used for the box and the other papers are from my scrap stash.
Cricut Cartridge:
Wrap It Up - Page 59 Pumpkin box is cut at 9". Using the Cricut Craft Room and playing with the sizes, I used the Basic and Layer cuts so I would have the four different colors that you see. Phrase Happy Halloween is cut 1".

Candy corn ribbon is Paper Studio. Curly Ribbon used for the bow and tag.

We look forward to seeing your 3-D Halloween treat containers. Remember you must use the Cricut for the container and please state in your blog post which Cricut cartridge you used! One person will be chosen to receive the Project of the Week badge. It could be you!
