My Sheri Crafts - Ch. 156 Birthday Bash

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

It is time for another fun challenge at My Sheri Crafts! Ch. 156 is Birthday Bash chosen by our design team sister Marge. She asks that we create a Birthday Card and a Coordinating Envelope.
My card measures 6" x 6" cut from a white Colorbok cardstock. Patterned papers are from DCWV The French Country Stack. The pretty papers have a touch of glitter which I did not capture with the photo.
Cricut Cartridge:
Elegant Embellishments -  I love Anna Griffin's images! They are so pretty!
Square Doily is cut 5.5" wide from the pink and green patterned paper and is layered on white.
Flower is cut 3" wide from pink patterned and pink solid papers.
Butterfly is cut 2.25" wide from a lt. blue patterned paper and layered on pink.
Bows are cut 1.25" wide. Flourish under the butterfly is cut 4.40" wide from white.
Birthday is cut 3.35" wide from white and layered on pink.
Scallop edge Flourish is cut 6.2" wide...used on the envelope.
Flourish used on back side on envelope. Oops, I do not see the size.
Butterfly and flower are on pop dots for added dimension to the card.

 Inside of card

Cricut Wildcard Cartridge is used for the envelope. It is actually called invite envelope. I cut it at 10" from white Colorbox. Pink flourish is on a pop dot to hold the envelope. This card and envelope will be hand delivered.

Now it is your turn to play along with us! Visit My Sheri Crafts to see all the pretty cards and envelopes created by our talented design team and our guest designer. For more information on the projects, visit each individual blog. We look forward to seeing your cards and envelopes!

Winnie the Pooh

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

I have many Cricut images that I never seem to use. Today's card features some of those images that I chose to play with...Winnie the Pooh. The card is 5" x 6 1/2" white cardstock layered with a Colorbok light blue paper for the background. Others papers are from stash.

Cricut Cartridge
Disney Pooh and Friends - Pooh's house is cut 6.2"w, 4.66"h. Pooh is cut 2.75"h. Pooh word is cut 1.5"w., grass is cut .75"h. I first cut a smaller Pooh Bear, but some of the intricate facial cuts did not do well. As Pooh would say "Think, think". I chose a bit larger size.
Cuttlebug folder - Kassies's Brocade is used on the tree for a bit of dimension and interest. As in cartoons, it does not have to be a plain tree!

Challenge:
Die Cuttin Divas - Ch. 213 - Kid theme- In honor of Cartoonist Day May 5th

Thanks for your visit! Maybe Pooh will bring a smile!
