Sea Shell Card

Here I am playing around with a Beach theme. Papers are Recollections yellow and turquoise cardstock and Colorbok white cardstock. Card measures 5" x 7".

 

This is my play with one of the cards that can be found in Cricut Design Space. Choose Projects, Choose All Categories, Choose Anna Griffin, then search for the Anna Griffin Sea Shell Card.

Cricut Cartridges:

Anna's Summer Soirees - Bench Folded Card is cut 6.83" wide x 9.955" high. Beach Doily is cut 3/264" wide x 3.273" high. Instructions say to cut the doily but when the project is brought into Design Space, the doily image is not showing. This size worked fine for me.

Anna's Elegant Embellishments 2 - hello is written with the Candy Crystal pen on the white doily.

Anna's Soiree Lettering - Flourish. I cut two with one being cut using flip feature. I had to add the extra flourish...only one is showing in the design space project.

 

White doily is pop-dotted on the card.

 

I am pleased with the results. Hope my friend will like it!

Die Cuttin' Divas - Ch. 331 Birthday Celebration

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Today begins a new and fun challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas! Ch. 331 is Birthday Celebration! Needing a birthday card for my granddaughter, I decided to go with an elephant theme. Card measures 5" x 7". Papers are from my stash.

Cricut Cartridges:

Anna's Pop-Up Cards - Pop Up Kid card is cut 18.93" wide x 14" high with the envelope.

Anna's Elegant Embellishments 2 - Tag is cut 4.50" wide x 3.065" high using the white and purple papers.

Anna's Lace Cards & Embellishments - Sentiment "With Loving Thoughts" is printed on the white mat using the Cricut Midnight pen.

Anna's Soiree Lettering - Happy Birthday is cut 5.75" wide x 3.061" high.

Using Insert Shapes in Cricut Design Space, the purple mat is cut 6.75" wide x 4.75" high. The white mat is cut 6.50" wide x 4.50" high.

Anna's Splendid Soiree - Bow is cut 1" wide x .791" high. I cut two from the blue paper.

Cuttlebug Anna Griffin Matelasse embossing folder is used on the white mat.

Fantastic Flip Cards - 5

Today I am sharing the fifth card in my series of making Anna's Fantastic Flip Cards with the Cricut. I am loving this cartridge! There are ten different card style openings. Of course, each card style can have different looks about it. For this card, I sized it down to approximately 5" x 6 1/2" rather than the 5" x 7" cards. The pretty double-sided paper is from K&Company. The above photo is of the card standing with a slight opening.

Cricut Cartridges:

Anna's Fantastic Flipcards - This card is cut 10.36" wide x 6.485" high. "Happy Birthday" and "A Note to say" are written on the mats with the Cricut Midnight pen. Bow used inside the card is also from the same cartridge. I added the white mat so a personal message can be written.

Anna's Soiree Lettering - Flowers on front. Larger flower is cut 2.50" wide x 1.50" high and smaller one is cut 1.75" wide x 1.054" high. I cut the flowers from some of the same blue patterned paper as the card. Love how they turned out!

Fantastic Flip Cards 2

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

I have been playing with my Cricut again and one of my newer cartridges! Today I am sharing my second card from this wonderful cartridge! Card measures 5" x 7". Paper is Prima Tales of You & Me. I did not need any paper, but whenever I saw this pretty double-sided 12 x 12 pad and it was on sale, I had to buy it!! Did I say It was on Sale!! Guess I do not really need an excuse!

Cricut Cartridges: 

Anna Griffin Fantastic Flip Cards - The card is cut 11.06" wide x 7" high. This size does not include the envelope. Roses are Print and Cut. The cut size is 2.50" wide 3.35" high. The rose is pop-dotted on the card.

Happy Birthday is printed with the Cricut Midnight pen on a 2.272" wide x 3.487" high rectangle shape. Make a Wish is printed on a 2.25" wide x 3" high rectangle shape.

Anna's Soiree Lettering  - Butterfly is cut 1.941" wide x .921" high and is pop-dotted on the card. Flourish is cut 1.481" wide x .82" high.

Trying to get good photos of this card style is about as hard as trying to choose papers and images! I will share a few different angles of the card.

I really like the way this card turned out. I think it will be a nice surprise when the receipent opens the cards!

Basket Weave Card

Today I am sharing a Basket Weave Card. This was a fun and easy card to make. The tutorial can be found at Splitcoaststampers. My card measures 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". Papers are DCWV Fresh Floral Stack and Recollections.

Cricut Cartridges:

Anna's Elegant Embellishments 2 - White tag is cut 3" wide x 2.933" high. Size includes the pink shadow layer.

Anna's Soiree Lettering - Flower is cut 2.388" wide x 1.438" high. Flower is pop-dotted on the white tag.

Anna's Christmas Cards & Embellishments - Blessings is cut 2.661" wide x 1.487" high.

Anna's Lovely Layered Cards - Feel Better Soon is printed with the Cricut Midnight pen on an inserted 3" square shape.

Cuttlebug: Swiss Dots is used on the white tag. 

I added twine from Diana at DL.ART. Thank you Diana for the pretty twine bundles.

Die Cuttin Divas - Ch. 298 Sketch

Happy New Year everyone!
I have exciting news to share with you! I am now a design team member at Die Cuttin Divas. I enjoyed participating in the challenges. Now I am looking forward to being part of this talented group of designers! Thank you so much Georgiana and team!

For the first challenge of 2017, Challenge 298 is a Sketch Challenge. 

My card measures 5" x 6 1/2" and is cut from cream card stock. Patterned papers are from K&Company Classic K Bailey paper pad that I have had for several years. The embossed tan paper is from Craft Smith Embossed Naturals paper pad.

Cricut Cartridges: I am using some of my recent purchased cartridges. I love Anna Griffin cartridges!

Anna's Soiree Lettering  - Flower is cut 3" wide x 1.81" high. It is pop-dotted on the tan paper mat.

Anna's Elegant Embellishments 2 - Love is cut 2" wide x 1.39" high from the blue and brown paper. 

For inside the card,  the tag is also cut from this cartridge at 4.50" wide x 3.07" high.

Anna's Lovely Layered Cards 2 -  The sentiment Happy Birthday to You is printed with the Cricut Midnight pen on the tag mentioned above.

Cuttlebug - Anna Griffin Flower Grid Embossing folder is used on the blue strip of paper. I bought the Cricut Mystery Box recently and was so happy to find all the beautiful Anna Griffin folders and dies inside the box. This is my first card using one of the folders!
