NOEL

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Today I am sharing a Christmas card. I love the Cricut Christmas images and how this card turned out!

Cricut Cartridges:
Anna's Christmas Cards and Embellishments - Evergreen Boughs Card is cut 9.19" wide x 6.5" high. I chose to used the card with the holly leaves on the bottom rather than on the side. I hand cut a small strip of red to place behind the cut openings of the card and for the berries.
The sentiment Wishing You Joy is used inside the card.
Anna's Winter Wonderland - NOEL is cut 5" wide x 2.75" high. This image uses four colors of paper and works well to be the main focus of the card.

Christmas in July- Pull Out Fold Card 3

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

I am back again with another Pull Out Fold Card. Why not use up more of  the left over papers from the first two cards! My paper is from The Paper Studio Yuletide Joy paper pack. These papers are 12" x 12". The tutorial for the Pull Out Fold card can be found at Mary's CARDZ TV. I also used some of the same Cricut images as used on the two previous cards.

Cricut Cartridges:
Anna's Winter Wonderland - Christmas Holly Berry is cut 2.5" wide.
Wild Card - Present is cut 1.35" wide x 3" high.
Merry and Bright - Merry Christmas is cut 2.25" wide. This image includes a frame, but I previously used the contour feature to hide the frame and saved only the words Merry Christmas in my files. Now I can adjust the size of Merry Christmas phrase to fit any project.
Teresa Collins December 25th - Snowflake border is cut 2" wide.

Friends are the best presents sentiment is from Mary's CARDZ TV Home for Christmas stamp set.

Pull out card.

I do like this style of card. As mentioned before, there are many possibilities for decorating the card. I hope you are inspired to try the Pull Out Card. I think the card will also work well with a Christmas decorating display.

A Christmas Candle

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

With the holidays fast approaching, my thoughts have turned to making Christmas cards. This card is 5" x 6 1/2" cream card stock. The pretty patterned papers are K&Company Glad Tidings paper pad. These papers are so pretty that I really did not want to cut it, but I am pleased with the results.

Cricut Cartridges:
Joys of the Season - Candle image is cut 3.25" high. It is embossed with the Cuttlebug Textile folder and pop dotted on the burlap. The pine cone is cut 2" wide.
Cindy Loo - Peace is cut 2" wide.
Winter Wonderland - Merry Christmas is cut 5.5" wide. This is used inside the card.

I added a strip of lace burlap and some pearls to the card. Edges of paper are slightly frayed.

A Quilted Christmas - Snowman

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!
My free two week subscription with the newly purchased Cricut Explore has expired so I have been  linking some of my cartridges. I had never linked any of my cartridges to any system. I have many more to link. It will surprise me how many cartridges that I own and have never used.

Today I am sharing a Winter card made using several cartridges with some images that I have never used. The card measures 5"x 6 1/2" and is white cardstock. The background patterned paper is from my recently purchased The Paper Studio Pine St. Square paper pad. Green plaid used on the vest is from a new pad from the Paper Studio Winter Wonderland.

Cricut Cartridges
A Quilted Christmas - Snowman
Winter Frolic - Phrase "Brrrr"
Winter Woodland - Red Bird
Winter Wonderland -Holly Berry
Teresa Collins Dec 25 - Snowflake - inside card
3 Birds of Parade - Phrase "Baby, its Cold Outside" - inside card.

Cuttlebug Folders are Snowflakes and Polka Dots. I hand cut the snow banks and added the embossing for texture. I added Stickles Frosted Lace on the snow banks but my camera did not capture that effect.
Tiny snowflakes are the negative cut from the Martha Stewart Aspen Snowflake edge punch. I added red rhinestones to the snowflakes for a bit of bling.
Snowman and Hollyberry are pop-dotted on card for dimension.

My Sheri Crafts - Ch 147 Oh Christmas Tree

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

It is time for a fun challenge at My Sheri Crafts. Sue has chosen the theme "Oh Christmas Tree". She asked us to make a card/project for Christmas which must include a tree. I must say it has been over a year since I have participated in any challenges. I am happy to be playing again! Many thanks to Sheri and the design team for bearing with me during this difficult time.

Recently I received the Cricut Anna Griffin Christmas Kitsch cartridge. I enjoyed working with the pretty card features on this cartridge to make these cards.

The shaped tree card image 15 is found on page 29. Using pretty double sided paper allows for the look above. Oh Christmas Tree sentiment is from Cricut Winter Frolic.

Above card is the image 28 found on page 55.The word peace is found on Winter Wonderland cartridge.

I used image 29 for the deer/tree card which is found on page 57. Tis the Season is found on the Winter Frolic cartridge.
All cards were cut 5.5 inches. I used Christmas papers that were purchased a couple of years ago.

Visit the design team's blogs to see all their creative tree projects. Remember you must make a Christmas card/project which includes a tree. We look forward to seeing your pretty cards!

Thanks for visiting today!
