Today begins another fun challenge at My Sheri Crafts. This week, our design team sister Sue asked us to create a Thinking of You card. We all need this type of card quite often--can be sympathy, get well, thank you, etc. Thinking of you phrase must be on the card!

Iris Folding Clover

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!
It has been quite some time since I added Iris Folding on a card and I wanted to play with all that folded paper. My first Iris Folding card can be found Here. I searched through my papers for patterned St. Patrick's Day papers for the clover but found only two papers. I chose to go with different shades of solid green. Card is 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" cut from green card stock.
Cricut Cartridges:
Designer's Calendar - Using Cricut Design Space, I cut the clover shape opening in the white paper at 2.75" wide. I used the free square template at Circle of Crafters for the placement of the different colors of paper on the clover. This pattern has been donated to the public domain.
Basic Shapes - White layer is cut 4" wide x 5.25" high.
Phrases - Happy St. Patrick's Day is cut 3.75" wide.
A Memory Thread bow and green rhinestones are added for a finishing touch to the card. With all the folded papers under the openings, it does make the card a bit bulky.

Anniversary Card

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!
I enjoy playing with the images from a couple of my recently purchased Cricut digital cartridges. The two Anna Griffin cartridges have pretty images and sentiments. I have trouble deciding what to do. I really like the sentiments--there are ten different ones on each of the two cartridges. I love it when I can buy such a great cartridge at a sale price! For my card, I chose one of the card features and added the sentiment with the Cricut Explore writing feature.

Cricut Cartridges:
Anna's Flourish Cards and Embellishments - Card cut size is 4.98" wide, 7.02" high from white Recollections paper. The decorative top is cut from lavender Recollections paper. I used the midnight pen for writing the sentiment on the face of the card.
Anna's Garden Cards and Embellishments - I cut 3 flower icon at 2" wide using the white and lavender paper. One flower is used inside the card. Two pearls complete the card.
Phrases- Happy Anniversary is cut 6" wide used inside card. There is space to write a personal message!

It is a lot of gluing on these cards, but I think they turn out pretty!
