Die Cuttin' Divas - Ch. 341 Pumpkin Season

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

It is time for another fun challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas. Ch. 341 is Pumpkin Season. We want to see pumpkins! My card measures 5" x 6 1/2" white cardstock. Craft Smith Fall Embossed tan and yellow papers are used on the background. Other papers are from the scrap stash.

Miss Kate Cuttables Pumpkin Group was a free image. Many thanks for this pretty file! I cut the pumpkin group at 3.417" wide x 2.197" high using several different colors of paper.

Cricut Cartridges:
Ribbons and Rosettes - Scallop border is cut 4.50" wide x .093" high from the green paper.
Using the Cricut Font Monday, Happy Fall was written with the Cricut Midnight pen.
Bits and Pieces - Orange banner is cut 1.35" wide x 5.5" high.

Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder is used on the white mat.

I was inspired to play with a pretty sketch from Card Maps January 2016.

Heart Bee Birthday Card

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

I am sharing a birthday card for a friend. The card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" white cardstock. Patterned paper is K&Company Valentine paper that was left over from Valentine projects. I thought the paper would work great for a young lady's birthday.

Miss Kate's Cuttables - Heart Bee is cut 2.94 wide" x 2.75" high. This was a recent free image. It works great with my Cricut Explore and Design Space. Thanks for the cute freebie.

Cricut Cartridges:
Just Because  - Bee Happy is cut 2.2" wide x 1.5" high.
Anna's Lovely Layered Cards 2 - Happy birthday to you is written with the Cricut Midnight pen on an inserted 3.75" wide x 3.12" rectangle shape. This is used inside the card.
Cuttlebug Divine Swirls folder is used on the white mat under the cute bee.

Fall Pumpkin

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Today I am sharing a Pumpkin/Fall card. It can be used for several different occasions. The card measures 5" x 6 1/2" and is cut from Recollection cardstock. White cardstock is Colorbox. The pretty patterned papers are from My Mind's Eye Simply Beautiful paper pad. I love these papers but they are very thin and difficult to cut. I had to cut the images several times to get a good cut, but with a new Cricut blade and a larger size image, the Explore worked good.

The Fall pumpkin image is Miss Kate's Cuttables SVG file that was free recently. I love this pumpkin with the layers! Using my Cricut Explore, I cut the image at 4" high. I tried at 3.50" high several times but the leaves were torn during the cut.

I am playing with Sketch 19 at Paper Play Sketches.  Be sure to visit Janis's blog for a new weekly sketch each Wednesday. The sketches are always pretty and such fun to play with.

For extra touches, I  added brads that have been in my supplies for years. The pretty brown crinkle ribbon is from Karen at Little Scrap Pieces. Thank you Karen for the pretty ribbons!

Happy Easter

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Happy Easter! Hope you are having a blessed day! Let us rejoice! Thank you Jesus!

I am sharing one last Easter card. I have not had much free time for crafting, but I did want to try this image on a card. My card is white card stock and measures 5" x 6 1/2". Patterned paper and solid papers were in my scrap stash.

The Chocolate Easter Egg is a SVG freebie from Miss Kate Cuttables
I cut the image on my Cricut Explore at 3.75" high. I have only used SVG files a couple of times and this image cut really well. I used similar colors as shown on the display image. Thanks
Miss Kate Cuttables for the free image. I like the way it turned out.

Cricut Cartridge Designer's Calendar is used for the word Easter. It is cut 1.25" high.

The pretty sketch at Paper Play Sketches is the foundation of my card. I changed the position for the sentiment but with sketches, it is fun to have your own play on the sketch!

Pretty yellow twine from Diana at DL.ART is the perfect finish for my card. Thanks Diana for my recent win!
