Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

It is the first Tuesday of the month and that means it is time for another fun Sketch Challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas! I enjoy working with sketches! I tried something different with this pretty sketch. All the pretty papers and images are Print and Cut with my Cricut Explore. My printer is HP Deskjet 1056. The image colors are printed nicely on white cardstock. Card measures 5" x 6 1/2" and is white cardstock.

Fantastic Flipcards - 6

 Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Today I am sharing the sixth flipcard in my series of making the Fantastic Flipcards. Do you notice the pretty paper? When I saw the pretty double-sided Anna Griffin cardstock available on Cricut, I just had to purchase a few choices. This is the Rose Medley paper pack. Love it! Card measures 5" x 7".

Cricut Cartridge:
Anna's Fantastic Flipcards - Card is cut 11:03" wide x 6.943" high. This is the cut size without the included envelope. Roses cut 2.5" wide x 3.35" high. I cut two same size with one on flip. Single rose is cut 1.75" wide x 1.772" high, again cutting two with one on flip. I glued the flip rose to the back side of the original rose and then pop-dotted on card. When looking at roses inside of card, you will see the printed rose rather than the white paper of back side of rose.
Sentiments are written with the Cricut Midnight pen.
Butterfly is cut 1.50" wide x 1.33" high and again with image on flip.
Corner is cut 1.25" wide x 1.269" high. I cut two corners.

Card for a Red Hat Lady

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Needing a birthday card for a Red Hat Lady friend, I enjoyed playing with one of my recently purchased Anna Griffin cartridges. Card measures 4 7/8 " wide x 6 7/8" high. Card is cut from Recollections red cardstock. Other papers include Red Hat Society papers that I have had a long time. Purple and white papers are from the stash.

Cricut Cartridges:
Anna's Pop Up Cartridge - This is the second card that I am posting made with this cartridge. Birthday Cake card is cut  9.676" wide x 6.932" high. This size does not include the envelope image.
For the front of the card:
Anna's Fantastic Flipcards - Happy Birthday was written on the white 3.75" wide x 4" high paper.
Anna's Gracious Giftables Embellishments - Roses- larger cut 2.011" x 2.39" high and smaller cut 1.885" wide x 2.011"high.

Inside of pop-up card.

Inside of card:
Anna's Elegant Embellishments - Make a Wish sentiment is cut 2.5" wide x 1.512" high.

Fantastic Flip Cards - 5

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Today I am sharing the fifth card in my series of making Anna's Fantastic Flip Cards with the Cricut. I am loving this cartridge! There are ten different card style openings. Of course, each card style can have different looks about it. For this card, I sized it down to approximately 5" x 6 1/2" rather than the 5" x 7" cards. The pretty double-sided paper is from K&Company. The above photo is of the card standing with a slight opening.

Cricut Cartridges:
Anna's Fantastic Flipcards - This card is cut 10.36" wide x 6.485" high. "Happy Birthday" and "A Note to say" are written on the mats with the Cricut Midnight pen. Bow used inside the card is also from the same cartridge. I added the white mat so a personal message can be written.
Anna's Soiree Lettering - Flowers on front. Larger flower is cut 2.50" wide x 1.50" high and smaller one is cut 1.75" wide x 1.054" high. I cut the flowers from some of the same blue patterned paper as the card. Love how they turned out!

Winterscape Card

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

I was happy to see the Cricut cartridges that came in the July Digital Mystery Box. Did you know that Dreaming Tree has a Christmas Collection available through Cricut? Wow! I just had to purchase it!

This is my first project using the Christmas Collection. It is called Winterscape Card. When the project was brought into Cricut Design Space, I left the size as it was - 34.381" wide x 11" high which includes an envelope. I did not cut the envelope at this time. My finished box is approximately 6 1/4" wide x 10 inches high. The size shown on the Dreaming Tree website is 9.5"H x 6"W x 1.75"D.  I plan to add a battery operated light inside the box and use as a Christmas decoration.

Hope you enjoy! Cricut may have more Mystery boxes available.
