Pumpkin Treat Box

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

I am still playing with Fall images on my Cricut Explore. Thought I would share this cute little treat box!

Dreaming Tree - Pumpkin Treat box is a free file. Thanks Dreaming Tree for the fun treat box! I cut the box from orange cardstock and the pumpkin from a golden/orange cardstock. The greens are from Cricut cardstock.

Kim Byers - Pie! Oh My! - "For You to Gobble Gobble later" tag is cut 2.473" wide x 3.75" high.
This is a print and cut image that was available free for last week. Glad I found a use for the image!

Cuttlebug:
Divine Swirls folder is used on each of the three pumpkin pieces. The top two pieces are pop-dotted on base of pumpkin.
Polka Dots folder - leaf

Layers of the pumpkin are inked on the edges for a bit of dimension.

I am pleased with the treat box. Of course, it may just stay in my crafting area since I added some yummy candies!

Give Thanks

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

I am back with another Fall card! Looking through some of the many images in Cricut Access, I selected a few from different cartridges and came up with this!

Cricut Cartridges:
Creative Cards - Card Base and Envelope. I cut only the card--measurement is 10.53" wide x 5.359" high from the gold color paper. The Burnt orange mat is cut 4.843" wide x 4.836" high.
Kim Byers - Pie! Oh My! - This cartridge is free for use this week only in Cricut Design Space. It is one that I do not have! Autumn Wreath/Bow is a print and cut image. It is cut 3.909" wide x 4.573" high.
Family Album - Give Thanks is cut 1.921" wide x .98" high and placed inside the circle of the wreath.
Cuttlebug Folders:
Geometric Rings - Burnt orange mat
Swiss Dots - Bow. I added a gemstone to the bow.

Fall Window Box Card

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

The calendar shows Autumn will soon be here. With the high temperatures we have been having, I am ready. I have been staying inside and playing with the Cricut machine. Today I am sharing my Fall Window Box Card.

Cricut Cartridges:
Anna's Window Box Cartridge  -  Box Card
Photo Play Paper - Autumn Day   - Gold Maple Leaf, Red Maple Leaf, Brown Oak Leaf, Branch, Acorn, Pumpkins, Autumn Breeze Fall Leaves Circle, and Harvest Wheat. These are Print and Cut images.
Walk in My Garden - Sunflowers
It's Fall in the Details  - Large individual maple leaf is cut 3.50" wide. I planned to use the leaves from this cartridge in the box. However, because of the cut out details, the leaf needed to be cut at a larger size. I will use it as a decoration.

Cuttlebug:
Swiss Dots embossing folder is used on the Red Maple Leaves.

Some images are pop-dotted for dimension. Crinkle Ribbon bow is from Karen at Little Scrap Pieces.

Large leaf details

I like the way this Fall Window Box turned out. Hope you enjoy!

Celebrate the Day card

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Today I am featuring a Cricut image that was available in one of the Cricut Mystery Digital Boxes. Papers are Cricut cardstock for the two greens. Colorbok brown, Recollections pink, and Craft Smith Wedding Neutrals for the white.

Cricut Cartridge:
Celebrate the Day - "I love us" card is cut 9.311" wide x 4.656" high from the white paper. The card features several layers of papers and a lot of drawing with pen work on the card images.
Cricut pens are Sour Apple, Cactus Pink, Copper Metallic, and Tawny.

I like the way this turned out with the pen work! Not much work--keep the right paper and right color of pen and let the Cricut do its magic!

Window Frame Christmas Card

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

I am so happy to receive a recently purchased Anna Griffin Cricut cartridge from HSN. Not really a cartridge--it actually is a code to redeem in Cricut Design Space for the digital images. I chose to make a Christmas card. Patterned papers are Craft Smith Olde Time Christmas Pad and Recollections Holiday Cardstock paper for the red.

Cricut Cartridges:
Anna's Window Frame Card Cartridge- Window Frame Card is cut 5.5" wide x 11" high from the plaid paper. Frame is cut 4. 6" wide x 5.882" high from the gold dot paper.
Anna's Christmas Greetings - These are Print and Cut images. Sentiment "Joy to You" is cut 2.75" wide. Poinsettia is cut 1.25" wide. I cut two of the roses with one being cut using flip feature.
For the inside of the card--- Celebrate the Season. Image was placed on the cutout from the gold dot paper.
Anna's Holiday Ornament - Angel is cut 4.645" wide x 3.111" high.

Inside of card.

I enjoy working with this card style and the possibilities are numerous. Hope you enjoy!
