My Sheri Crafts - Ch. 149 Valentine's Day

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

It is time for another fun challenge at My Sheri Crafts! For Challenge 149, Design team member Sandy has chosen the theme Valentine's Day and asked us to include a heart on our project.
Seems like the new year is passing quickly...we are already talking about Valentine's Day. My card measures 5" x 5" and is cut from white cardstock. I enjoyed working on my Cricut Explore machine with some Valentine images that was available during my two week free subscription. Patterned cardstock papers are from K&Company paper pads that I have had for quite some time.

Cricut Cartridges:
Paper Lace1 - All-over Heart design is cut from a light pink and darker pink patterned paper.
Boho Graphics Iron On -  Heart with Love cut out. This heart is pop-dotted on the larger heart design.
Holiday Cakes - Happy Valentine's Day used on inside on card.

Inside of card.

I am sharing a second Valentine that was made earlier. Cricut cartridge is Phrases. It is cut at 6". A small white doily, pink Recollections flower, and a crinkle ribbon bow finish the look.

This image reminds me of the vintage Valentines. I can use this in decorating.

Visit My Sheri Crafts to see all the pretty Valentines by the design team and guest designer. For more details, please visit the individual blogs! We appreciate your visits and comments! We look forward to seeing your projects...just remember to include a heart. Several Ooo La La blog award winners will be chosen and one person will be chosen to be our next guest designer.

Hope my projects inspire you to start working on your Valentine's!

  1. See that you've been having FUN with your cutter, Glenda, and you've come up with some AWESOME Valentine's cards to share! I especially like that doily flower you've used on your second card -- very pretty & feminine!

  2. Glenda, I see you have been really enjoying, and getting a lot of use out of the Cricut Explorer! Such wonderful cards too! :)

  3. What a beautiful Valentine Glenda! I wanted to craft this weekend but haven't done anything yet! My hubbie shampooed our carpet yesterday. Then we spent the evening with friends. Maybe I'll find time today! I am happy to see you enjoying yourself.

  4. Glenda, both cards are pretty! I'm glad you're having fun with the new Explore!

  5. These are very pretty, Glenda. Love the square one and I would use the heart for décor, too. Beautiful job.

  6. Wow Glenda, I am loving both of your cards! I can't believe it will be Valentine's either soon, where did January go?! I love the papers you used as well as your die cuts. Hugs, Brenda

  7. I think both of your valentine cards are beautiful. Your Explore cut out these images so well. I love the paper lace design with the pretty heart on top. You used such pretty papers on the second valentine and I just love the crocheted doily/flower!

  8. Glenda, two lovely cards. I have used that cut from Paper Lace myself and have loved how it has cut. your second card is great too. Afraid I haven't used my Cricut for quite sometime but seeing all your wonderful creations lately I may need to dust it off. Hugs
