Winter Wishes

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

It is beginning to feel like Winter in my neck of the woods! I am not quite finished with my outside Christmas decorating, but it too cold for me to be outside. I needed a little Cricut play time anyway!
The card measures 4.25" x 5. 50" and is cut from white card stock. Patterned papers are from the Paper Studio Winter Wonderland paper pack. I am playing along with the pretty Sketch 8 at Mary's CARDZ TV.

Cricut Cartridges:
A Quilted Christmas - Snow Girl is cut 1.91" wide x 2.5" high.
Jolly Holidays - Winter Wishes is cut 2.33" wide x 1" high.

Decorating with the Greens

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

December has arrived and I have been working on a few Christmas cards! Card is 5" x 6 1/2"white card stock. Patterned background paper is from K&Company EB Visions of Christmas paper pad. These papers are so pretty and sometimes I hate to cut pretty papers. I chose this paper to give a night time look for the card. Solid papers are from my scrap stash. Gold papers are a shiny paper.

Cricut Cartridges:
Christmas/Noel - This is one of my favorite Christmas cartridges! There are so many pretty images.
The main focus is the door. It is cut 4.5" high. Wreath on door is cut 1.50" wide. To accent the door, I added two of the village lampposts which are cut 2.5" high. Using the same wreath image as on the door, I cut two wreaths at 1.02" wide x 1.00" high to hang on the lampposts. Star is cut 1.75" high. When thinking of Christmas, I am always reminded of the Beautiful Star of Bethlehem!
Jolly Holidays - Merry Christmas is cut 3.50" wide.

 Inside of Card

Inside the card is layered with a pretty scrap paper from Martha Stewart Holidays paper pad. The Holly Card image is also from Christmas cartridge. It is cut 4.50" wide. For the perfect finishing touch, I used one of the pretty stamps from Cardz TV "Home for the Christmas" set. I was so happy to have recently been drawn winner for her stamps! Thank you so much Mary!
