Fall and Warm Socks

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

I have another Fall card to share with you! I enjoy decorating outside for Fall. I also enjoy playing with pretty Fall images for cards. I do like Fall! My card is 5" x 6 1/2" cream card stock. Papers are leftovers from previous projects.

Cricut Cartridges:
Photo Play Autumn Day - This digital cartridge was in the Cricut September Mystery Box. I love the images! There are a few cut images, but most are print and cut. Warm Socks saying is one of the print and cut. It measures 2.75" wide x 3.54" high. Red maple leaf and the leaves on the inside of card are also print and cut.

For the inside of the card---
Simply Scarecrows - The word Fall with the two gold leaves. I did not record the size of the image.
Cricut Sans Font - Word HAPPY is cut 3.75" wide x .905" high.

Martha Stewart Embossed Zig Zag Edge Punch is used on the gold banner that is on front of card.

Fall Center Step Card

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Happy Fall! The Fall season has arrived, but with our temperatures, it does not feel like it. I have been playing in my craft room with some Fall images. I used the directions at SplitCoastStampers to create this fun Center Step Card. Recollections Brown cardstock is used for the card base. The card layers are cut from Craft Smith Fall Embossed paper pad. Hope you can see the pretty embossed leaves on the tan paper. Other papers are from scrap stash--good way to use those!

Cricut Cartridges:
Jubilee - Fall tree
Paper Dolls for Everyday - Girl with Leaf and boy with pumpkin
Simply Scarecrows - The word memories
Wild Card - Autumn
Walk in My Garden - Wheelbarrow
Designer's Calendar - Leaf

Fall Leaves and Pumpkins

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

With Fall fast approaching, I have been working on outside decorations. I love Fall! Now it is time to start working on some cards! This card is 4.25" x 5.50".

Cricut Cartridges:
Enjoy the Seasons - This is a print and cut cartridge with seasonal images that I have been wanting to try. The background paper is a printed pattern that is available with the cartridge...it is called Multi Color Polka Dots. The paper is cut 4" wide x 5.25" high.
Nuts and Leaves image is cut 2.50" wide x 2.196" high.
Pumpkins and Squash is cut 3.50" wide x 3.345" high using the flip horizontal feature.
Text Breezy - Fall is written on the banner of the pumpkin image. I thought that font name seemed appropriate for Fall.

Inside of card:
Background paper is Enjoy The Seasons Red and White Polka Dots.
The First Few Years - Happy is from Happy Day--used contour to eliminate the word Day. Happy is cut 3" wide x 1.487" high.
Simply Scarecrows - Fall with the leaves is cut 3.40" wide x 1.452" high.

I like the way this turned out with the printed and cut images. Hope you enjoy!

Using Insert Images on the Cricut Explore, I added the square and changed it to a 4.75" wide x 6.25" high rectangle to cut the plaid background paper.
Winter Woodland - Label is cut 5" wide x 3.25" high--this is the pumpkin paper.
Simply Scarecrow - Fall with the Leaves is cut 4.09" wide x 1.75" high.

Fall Decorated Plate

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Recently I have been playing with a few vinyl projects. I bought this pretty charger plate at Hobby Lobby and wanted to decorate it with vinyl for a Fall decorating project. Of course, I used my Cricut Explore to cut the images from vinyl.

Cricut Cartridges:
Simply Scarecrows - Happy Harvest is cut 6" wide x 4.07" high.
Thanksgiving - Pie Box - I ungrouped the image and cut only the pumpkin. It is cut at 1.75" wide x 1.60" high.
Designer's Calendar - Leaves are cut 1.50' wide, 1.25" wide and 1.00" wide.

Vinyl is from CraftEVinyl.

I am pleased with the finished project! My biggest problem was trying to get a good photo because the plate has such a glossy sheen to it!

I love this time of the year- the cooler weather and the pretty colors of the season. Pumpkins, gorgeous mums, and scarecrows have been selling fast! With that in mind, I chose Happy Fall/Pumpkin for our challenge this week. We want to see pumpkins, but No Halloween pumpkin. You can use any Cricut cartridge but remember the pumpkin must be a Cricut cut. We also ask that you tell us in your post which Cricut cartridge you used. Have fun! We look forward to seeing your pumpkins!
Cricut Cartridges:
Damask Decor - Page 68 - I used the pumpkin card feature for my card. The card base is cut at 5" from brick red cardstock.Using layer 1and 2,  the pumpkin is cut from green and the reddish orange papers and glued to the card base. Stripe paper on the inside is from K&Company TC Halloween and Fall paper pad. I also added a small piece of the same paper at the top corners of the card under the pumpkin.
Simply Scarecrow - This scarecrow is the third image on the first row and is cut at 3.5". Fall is cut at 1.5".
Cuttlebug: Polka Dots on the pumpkin and Divine Swirls on the green stem.
Other supplies include white Gelly roll pen for the doodling, pumpkin is pop-dotted, and twine bow from stash. Inking is Versa Magic Gingerbread.
