My Sheri Crafts - Ch. 149 Valentine's Day

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

It is time for another fun challenge at My Sheri Crafts! For Challenge 149, Design team member Sandy has chosen the theme Valentine's Day and asked us to include a heart on our project.
Seems like the new year is passing quickly...we are already talking about Valentine's Day. My card measures 5" x 5" and is cut from white cardstock. I enjoyed working on my Cricut Explore machine with some Valentine images that was available during my two week free subscription. Patterned cardstock papers are from K&Company paper pads that I have had for quite some time.

Cricut Cartridges:
Paper Lace1 - All-over Heart design is cut from a light pink and darker pink patterned paper.
Boho Graphics Iron On -  Heart with Love cut out. This heart is pop-dotted on the larger heart design.
Holiday Cakes - Happy Valentine's Day used on inside on card.

Inside of card.

I am sharing a second Valentine that was made earlier. Cricut cartridge is Phrases. It is cut at 6". A small white doily, pink Recollections flower, and a crinkle ribbon bow finish the look.

This image reminds me of the vintage Valentines. I can use this in decorating.

Visit My Sheri Crafts to see all the pretty Valentines by the design team and guest designer. For more details, please visit the individual blogs! We appreciate your visits and comments! We look forward to seeing your projects...just remember to include a heart. Several Ooo La La blog award winners will be chosen and one person will be chosen to be our next guest designer.

Hope my projects inspire you to start working on your Valentine's!

A Quilted Christmas - Snowman

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!
My free two week subscription with the newly purchased Cricut Explore has expired so I have been  linking some of my cartridges. I had never linked any of my cartridges to any system. I have many more to link. It will surprise me how many cartridges that I own and have never used.

Today I am sharing a Winter card made using several cartridges with some images that I have never used. The card measures 5"x 6 1/2" and is white cardstock. The background patterned paper is from my recently purchased The Paper Studio Pine St. Square paper pad. Green plaid used on the vest is from a new pad from the Paper Studio Winter Wonderland.

Cricut Cartridges
A Quilted Christmas - Snowman
Winter Frolic - Phrase "Brrrr"
Winter Woodland - Red Bird
Winter Wonderland -Holly Berry
Teresa Collins Dec 25 - Snowflake - inside card
3 Birds of Parade - Phrase "Baby, its Cold Outside" - inside card.

Cuttlebug Folders are Snowflakes and Polka Dots. I hand cut the snow banks and added the embossing for texture. I added Stickles Frosted Lace on the snow banks but my camera did not capture that effect.
Tiny snowflakes are the negative cut from the Martha Stewart Aspen Snowflake edge punch. I added red rhinestones to the snowflakes for a bit of bling.
Snowman and Hollyberry are pop-dotted on card for dimension.
