Lacy Labels Hello

Hello! That is the theme for this week's challenge at My Sheri Crafts Challenge!
My card size is 5 x 6 1/2 and I layered it with pretty paper from K&Company. I chose Cricut Lite Lacy Labels cartridge to make this card. I thought this would be a pretty way to say Hello! Label and all features of the image are cut at 4 1/2 inches. I started with 3 1/2 inches but because of the intricate cut of the hello layer, some areas of it kept breaking apart. I increased cutting size until I was satisfied with the results.
A corner punch was used on the corners of the background paper so the green would show. I embossed the green strip behind the labels with the Cuttlebug Cassie's Brocade folder. Pop-dotted the label to add dimension and did lots of inking!

Gifts for You

After we have enjoyed our Thanksgiving celebrations, many of us are busy with decorating, shopping and wrapping Christmas gifts. Sherri at Jitterbuggin' chose "Gifts Galore" as the theme for this challenge. We could use the simple sketch or not, but make a card with a gift theme, add bling, add a bow, and a cricut cut.
For my card, I am using pretty double-sided paper from K&Company Yuletide. I chose the present card feature on page 62 from Cricut Wild Card cartridge and cut it at 5 1/2 inches. Using the icon feature, I cut an inside liner for the card. The green dot paper ribbon is also on the icon feature. The poinsettia card is pop-dotted on the main card and will open up to reveal a secret message.
The tag is cut from Joys of the Season at 2 1/2 inches and lined with red paper for the poinsettia. A plain tag is available on Wild Card page 62, but I wanted to add a poinsettia to the tag. Sentiment "for you" is cut from Wild Card page 62 at 6 1/4 inches. Using a glimmer ribbon, I tied the tag to the present and made a bow. Gold Stickles was applied to centers of the poinsettias for a little more bling. Also added Stickles to the brad on the paper poinsettia flower--flower from Making Memories. Lots of inking!
The recipient of this will be surprised to receive two cards in one!
