My Sheri Crafts - Ch. 158 Splish Splash

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Today begins a new and fun challenge at My Sheri Crafts. Sheri has chosen Ch. 158 Splish Splash. She asks that our project features beach, water, swimming, etc. My card is white cardstock and measures 5"x 6 1/2". Blue background paper is from Recollection Bright and Basics paper pad. Other papers are from my scrap stash!

Cricut Cartridge:
Pack Your Bags - Scuba Kid scene is cut 5" high. Phrase Snorkeling is cut 4.75" wide.
I cut an extra fish and star fish which was added outside the scene. This is another neglected cartridge!

Visit My Sheri Crafts to see the wonderful inspiration from the design team. We are happy to welcome talented Kristi Schurr who is joining our design team!  To see additional information on the projects, please visit the individual blogs and leave a little love!

A Little Dancer

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

I have been playing with one of my neglected Cricut cartridges. Have you ever purchased a cartridge and then use it only one time in four years? Seems that is what happened with Twinkle Toes! I cut the 5" x 6 1/2" card from pink cardstock. All other papers are cut from my scrap stash.

Cricut Cartridge:
Twinkle Toes - Dancer is cut 3.75" high. Banner is cut 3.97" wide. Dancer and banner are pop-dotted on card.
Cuttlebug Swiss Dots is used on the banner for a little dimension. A small yellow crinkle ribbon bow is added.

Challenges:
BBTB2 - Let's Dance
Hope you enjoy this card! Thanks for your visit!

Another Floral Card

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Sadly and too quickly, I had to make another sympathy card. I used the same floral card image that I shared recently using the Cricut Anna's Cards and Embellishment cartridge. On the previous card, I used a pretty floral pattern paper as the liner behind the rose. This card is for one of my Red Hat friends who lost her husband. I chose to use this pretty purple paper behind the rose. The purple paper is double-sided with lavender made by The Paper Company. It has several colors of fibers running through the paper. Do you see the red? I just had to purchase all these pretty papers that the store had and they were on sale too! Of course, it was not too many left to be bought!

Card is cut 7" high from white cardstock and measures 5" x 7".  I added the word Love on the front of the card. That image is found on Cricut Sweethearts. Inside I used the lavender side of the paper.
The sentiment is also found on Anna's Cards and Embellishment cartridge.

The first card can be seen here. Just a change of paper can make a completely different card!

Thanks for stopping by!
