Happy Birthday to You!

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

After doing yard work yesterday morning, I needed a break in the craft room. Playing around with pretty patterned paper from Craft Smith Tea Party, this is what happened! Recollection solid papers and Recollections Shimmer Cardstock White Gold papers were used on card. White card measures 6 1/2" x 5".

Cricut Cartridges:
Insert Shapes - Square sized to 6.25" wide x 4.75" high rectangle for the patterned paper used on base of card.
Elegant Edges - Square Lace Edge Frame sized to 2.5" wide x 3.111" high for the light and dark pink paper frame.
Small Talk Frames & Tags - Frame is cut 3" wide x 2.996" high from the white and aqua papers.
Anna's Lovely Layered Cards 2  - "Happy Birthday to You" is written with the Cricut Pink Crystal pen on the white paper of the frame.
Anna's Roses -  Rose is cut 1.539" wide x 1.805" high. This is a print and cut mage. I think the pretty rose works well with the patterned rose paper.

Martha Stewart Swirling Lace edge punch is used on 1.5" strip of pink patterned paper. I added a Michael's adhesive trim. Pretty sequins are a win from SpiegelMom Scraps.

I love the way this turned out! Hope you enjoy!

With Love

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a good crafting weekend! I found some playing time in the craft room to make this card. The premade white card measures 5" x 6 1/2". Patterned papers are scraps from some pretty K&Company paper pads. Solid pinks are Recollections and the solid greens are from Cricut.
Cuttlebug - With Love Embossing folder is used on the lower green strip of paper.
Cricut Cartridges:
J. Goode Design Flower Bouquet  - Tulip is cut 3.25" wide x 3.167" high. I used three shades of pink for the flower. Top section of larger flower is pop-dotted on the lower section. Leaves/stems are made with two shades of green.

Cricut Pens:
Wine fine point pen - pink papers; Sour Apple medium point 1.0 on green leaves and stems.

I distressed edges of the mat paper with scissors and inked the edges. Top right corner is turned down and coordinating paper is added under it. I hand cut the flower from lace and pop-dotted it in corner. Pearls from my collections. Pink inking added to card base.

Simple, but I do like the results! Thanks for your visits and comments!
