Winterscape Card

I was happy to see the Cricut cartridges that came in the July Digital Mystery Box. Did you know that Dreaming Tree has a Christmas Collection available through Cricut? Wow! I just had to purchase it!

This is my first project using the Christmas Collection. It is called Winterscape Card. When the project was brought into Cricut Design Space, I left the size as it was - 34.381" wide x 11" high which includes an envelope. I did not cut the envelope at this time. My finished box is approximately 6 1/4" wide x 10 inches high. The size shown on the Dreaming Tree website is 9.5"H x 6"W x 1.75"D.  I plan to add a battery operated light inside the box and use as a Christmas decoration.

I am always happy to play with a new Cricut cartridge! Today I am sharing my first card made using Anna's Pop Up Cards. Card measures 5" x 7". Papers are from Recollections.

The first photo shows the inside of the card which makes the pop up.

Cricut Cartridges:

Anna's Pop Up Cards - Pop Up Card Florals is cut 6.932" wide x 9.901" high. This size does not include the envelope. Loving this new cartridge!

Anna's Elegant Embellishments 2 - Tag is cut 5" wide x 3.406" high.

Anna's Garden Cards & Embellishments - Using the Cricut Midnight pen the "Warm Wishes Sentiment" is written on the tag.

Anna's Lace Cards & Embellishments 2 - Butterfly is cut 2" wide x 1.529" high. I cut two of these.

Anna's Elegant Embellishments - Tag is cut 5" wide x 3.36" high.

Anna's Fantastic Flipcards - Sentiment "Thinking of you" (2.216" wide x 1.935" high) is written with Midnight pen on the tag. Flower is cut 2.75" wide x 2.414" high on flip.

Anna Griffin Cuttlebug Matelasse Folder is used on the white mat.

Guess you notice I love all Anna Griffin cartridges...always beautiful images! I do love the way this card turned out. Thinking it will brighten a friend's day!

It is time for another fun challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas! Ch. 326 is Sci Fi (Aliens, UFO, Space).  I had no idea what I would make until I found this cute spaceship image in Cricut Design Space. I am using papers from the stash.

Cricut Cartridges:

Crazy Cute Cards - Spaceship Card is cut 25.68" wide x 11.095" high. Size includes the envelope. Finished card size measures 9.75" high. 

Stencil - Blast off is cut 1.50" wide x . 699" high. 

Card opened.

Just a simple card, but I think it turned out cute! I have no need for this card at present time, but Happy Birthday or any appropriate sentiment can be added on the black section. Great for a younger guy or maybe an older guy!
