Christmas Card

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Sharing another Christmas in July card! Now I have two cards completed!
Card measures 5" x 7" cut from white Colorbok cardstock. Patterned paper is from the Paper Studio There's No Place Like Home for the Holidays. Gold is Cricut Foil Poster Board--my first try with this and my Cricut cut it fine! What a shine! Red and green papers are Recollections.

Cricut Cartridges:
Dreaming Tree Christmas Collection - Good Tidings Card. I cut an additional layer from the plaid paper to use on the front of card.
Anna's Christmas Cards & Embellishments- Merry Christmas is written on the white mat with the Cricut Midnight pen. This is used inside the card.
Inside the card.

Cuttlebug Embossing Folders:
Swiss Dots - Ornament and bow
Frills border - Strip

For a touch of sparkle, I added Stickles Lime Green to tips of holly and Christmas Red to berries. Photo does not show that well. Lots of pop dots added to holly leaves.

Hope you enjoy! Thanks for your visits and comments!

Christmas in July!

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Hallmark Christmas Movies in July have me thinking of the upcoming Christmas season! Time to get busy on Christmas cards! Good way to beat these hot Summer days we are having...just stay in my craftroom!

Cricut Cartridges:
Dreaming Tree Christmas Collection - Christmas Village Cascade Card. I am loving these images from Dreaming Tree!
Cricut Text - Brandon  - Words "Merry Christmas" written with the Cricut Midnight pen.

Decorated Tree

Recollection gemstones used on the tree. I got carried away with decorating the tree and you cannot see all of it on the card! Papers are from my stash. Glitter paper is used for the tree line.  Completed card measures about 9" high x 5" wide when finished. I will use my card as decoration.

Thanks for your visits and comments!

Winterscape Card

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

I was happy to see the Cricut cartridges that came in the July Digital Mystery Box. Did you know that Dreaming Tree has a Christmas Collection available through Cricut? Wow! I just had to purchase it!

This is my first project using the Christmas Collection. It is called Winterscape Card. When the project was brought into Cricut Design Space, I left the size as it was - 34.381" wide x 11" high which includes an envelope. I did not cut the envelope at this time. My finished box is approximately 6 1/4" wide x 10 inches high. The size shown on the Dreaming Tree website is 9.5"H x 6"W x 1.75"D.  I plan to add a battery operated light inside the box and use as a Christmas decoration.

Hope you enjoy! Cricut may have more Mystery boxes available.
