Christmas in July

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Inspired by a few challenges, I decided to make a Christmas card! Always nice to get an early start on them! Card is cut from red Recollection cardstock and measures 5" x 5". Patterned papers are from The Paper Studio Winter Wonderland paper pad and solid paper is Craft Smith Embossed Neutrals.

Cricut Cartridges:
Santa's Village - Santa with stocking is one of the print and cut images. It is cut 3" high. I have always liked the images on this cartridge, but I never bought the Imagine machine. I am happy that the images are available in Cricut Design Space subscription.
Simply Sweet - Circle is cut 3.5".
Anna's Christmas Cards and Embellishments - Sentiment is written on an inserted square shape that was sized to 4.26" w x 2.75" rectangle. This is used inside the card.

Merry Christmas sentiment on front of card is from Mary's "Home for Christmas" stamp set at CARDZ TV.  Love these stamps! Thanks again Mary!

I added a green crinkle ribbon bow that I received from Karen at Little Scrap Pieces. For the finishing touch, I added the red rhinestones in the right upper corner.

Inside of the card.

Celebrate - Fireworks

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Hope you enjoyed a wonderful and safe 4th of July holiday weekend! Lunch with my Mom and children was very nice. As always, too much food!
Baseball games and watering plants in my yard have been keeping me busy, with little time for the Cricut. I just had to make some time to play with my Cricut machine! Card is 5" x 7" red cardstock. Papers are from the stash!

Cricut Cartridges:
Photo Fun - Holiday Memories - Firework Frame is cut 4.75" x 6.75". I like this image and think it accents the fireworks! Using the Insert Shapes feature in the Cricut Design Space, I inserted the square and changed it to a 4.60" wide x 6.60" high rectangle to cut the white liner that is placed behind the frame.
Independence Day - Celebrate  -- Fireworks image is cut 3.30" wide. Celebrate image is cut 4" wide.

This will be a project that I can use in a 5" x 7" frame for the next Patriotic holiday. That is if I can find it!!

Challenges:
BBTB2 - Fireworks
DL.ART  - July Linky
Jo's Scrap Shack - Ch. 145 Use Red, White, and Blue
Little Scrap Pieces - Saturday Linky Party

Hope you enjoy the fun card! Thanks for your visits and comments!
