Winter Trees Birthday card
If you are looking for the Fantabulous Cricut Harvest Blessings Crawl click here or scroll down.
Just a reminder that you still have time to leave a comment on the FCCB post to be eligible for my blog candy drawing.
Welcome to Glenda's cards and thank you for stopping by today. A big Thank You to my new followers!
I just received the Cricut Formal Occasion cartridge and was excited to play with it. After seeing the tree challenge at Birthday Sundaes, I made a snowy, winter birthday card. We seldom see snow in our area and we are always excited to see a little snow!
Card is 5" x 6 1/2" and layered with a K&Company paper. The Winter image is found on page 64 and is cut at 3 1/2". I added an additional shadow with the blue paper cut at 3 3/4. Papers are from my stash.
Edge punch is Martha Stewart Aspen Snowflake and I placed the cut out snowflakes at random on the card. Ribbon is Walmart Holiday Time. The little banner is hand cut, inked, and stamped with a Studio G stamp.
Hope you enjoy my card!
Challenges:
Birthday Sundaes -- Ch 35- Include a tree and must have Birthday wording on front.

Fantabulous Cricut Harvest Blessings Crawl
Welcome to Glenda's Cards and the Fantabulous Cricut Harvest Blessings Crawl...Fantabulous Cricut's version of a blog hop!
It's Fall and everyone at Fantabulous Cricut has decided to create projects to give thanks for our Harvest Blessings! Each Design Team member will be featuring an original Fall project that includes Brown, Orange and Red – along with at least one Cricut cut.
If you've come from visiting Faith Abigail at http://www.faithabigaildesigns.com, you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our Fantabulous Cricut Crawl, start HERE .
Make sure to check out each DT member's blog for some awesome inspiration! There will be PRIZES along the way at some of our DT members' blogs, AND there will be a Grand Prize up for grabs at FCCB for one participant that submits a "Harvest Blessings" project at FCCB!
Now for my project!
Now for my project!
I am so happy to be participating in my first Fantabulous Cricut Crawl! Thanks for stopping by!
We pause to give thanks for our many blessings! One of my blessings is that my family lives close to me. At this time of Thanksgiving, I wanted to have a scrapbook page for a family photo that we will take. This gorgeous 12" x 12" paper is from DCWV The Four Season Stack which was bought on clearance after last Christmas. The page is pretty alone and I would not want to cut the page, but I thought some pretty Cricut cuts would add a great finishing touch!
Cricut cartridge is Thanksgiving Seasonal. This cartridge has pretty images and words. However, there are only two cuts for the images and only one cut for the words. I chose to use the phrase Count Your Blessings and cut it from Red cardstock at 2.25" The gold photo mat is hand cut at 5 3/8" x 4 1/4"; patterned mat is 5 1/8 " x 4". The Cricut cut strip of Brown is cut 1.25" and the Orange leaf overlay is cut at same size. I layered this cut over the photo mat and will slip the photo into it.
I love the words written on the page!
Not what we say about our blessings,
but how we use them,
is the true measure of our thanksgiving.
Now I do have a little blog candy! How about a $20.00 Walmart gift card to one lucky follower! How does that sound! We do not have a Michael's or Hobby Lobby in my little hometown, but we do have Walmart Supercenter.
To be eligible to win, you must be a follower of my blog and leave me a comment on this post. Please include a way to contact you should you be the winner of the drawing. US mailing address only. Drawing will be Friday Nov. 18.
Happy Thanksgiving to each of you!
Now it's your turn! Let's see your Harvest Blessings projects! Make sure to include a Cricut cut somewhere on your project and be sure to use the colours Brown, Orange and Red as well!
