My Sheri Crafts - Ch. 150 It's Cherry Pie Day

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

It is time for another fun challenge at My Sheri Crafts! Challenge 150 is 'It's Cherry Pie Day"! February 20th is Cherry Pie Day and Design Team member Sarah asked us to include a cherry or pie on our card or project.

My card is made using white Colorbox cardstock and is cut with my Cricut and Cricut Folk Art Festival cartridge. Red Recollections paper is used for the main cut. There are many pretty images on this cartridge. I really need to use the cartridge more often!

Inside of card.
The cherries, swirls, and flowers are the cutout pieces from the front of card. I added these cuts to the inside to dress it up a little. I did not add a sentiment at this time, but the card can be used for several occasions.
Be sure to visit My Sheri Crafts to see the pretty cherry projects from the design team and our guest designer. Stop by the individual blogs for more details. We look forward to seeing all your pretty projects! Several Ooh La La awards will be given and one person will be chosen to be our next guest designer.
Thanks for stopping by! I appreciate your comments!

A Valentine!

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

I have been playing with some K&Company Valentine scrap papers left from previous projects. After seeing  the Die Cuttin Divas sketch for this week, I came up with this card. Recollection cardstock is used for the card which measures 5.5" x 4.25".
Cricut Cartridges:
Lacey Labels- Love you label is cut at 3.5"h. This is pop-dotted on the card.
Valentine's Sweet Digital - Heart with Happy Valentine's Day used inside the card. I just purchased this set of cute digital images. You may be seeing more of these cute images!
A crinkle ribbon bow completes the card.

Thank you for visiting today!

Day 6 - Valentine's Day Cards

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Another day of sharing cards made using the Cricut digital images Valentine's Day Cards. This is Cricut Valentine's Day 21. Using the Explore, the card was cut from white Colorbok cardstock at 5.5" h. You may recognize the background patterned paper. Yes, I had a piece of paper left over from a previous card project, so I thought it was a good liner for this card. I hand cut a small piece of pink paper and glued behind the cut outs of the flower. Some of these cards can be used for different purposes other than Valentines. I will need an anniversary card later this month and I will be using this card for that purpose.

Inside of card!

Cricut Sweethearts cartridge- Happy Anniversary cut at 3.75"wide.
Cricut Birthday Bash cartridge - Lots of Love image cut 3.50" height.

The cut outs hearts were the reverse cut of the card previously made with the designer paper.

Now for another Valentine card which I made for a grandson. My grandsons are not too much into hearts and Valentine images so I think this will work.

The above card is Cricut Valentine's Day 09. It is cut from We R Memory Keepers double-sided cardstock that I have had a long time. It is cut at 5.5" width. I really like the look of the blue washed paper.

 Inside of card!

Cricut Classic Font is used for the I heart you image.  I think this will be ok for a guy especially if there is money inside!

Hope you have been enjoying the Valentine's Day Cards that I have been sharing for the past few days! Thanks for stopping by!

Day 5 - Valentine's Day Cards

 Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Today I am sharing two cards made using Cricut Valentine's Day Cards 20. These Valentine's Day Cards are single digital images available from Cricut. The images may still be on sale if you are interested in any of the images.

Of course, I had to make a few Valentine's for my Red Hat Ladies! White Colorbok cardstock is used for the cards and Recollections red and purple papers are the liners.

Inside of Cards.

Two liners were cut for each card. Cricut Holiday Cakes is used for the phrase Happy Valentine's Day. I like that cut so I have continued with it on most of my Valentine's Day cards. Small white hearts that are seen on the inside of the cards are the negative cut of the front of the card.

Cards measure 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". They will fit into A2 standard envelopes and can be easily mailed.

Thanks for your visits!

 Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

I am sharing more Cricut Valentine's Day Cards with you. This is Card 18. Red Recollections cardstock is used for the card and white Colorbok cardstock for the liner. Finished card measures 5.5"x 4.25" and fits in a standard A2 envelope.

Inside of card!

Cricut Holiday Cakes is used for the Happy Valentine's Day phrase. Cut out red hearts from the front of card are added to inside of card.

The boy/girl card is Cricut Valentine's Day 01 card. Again, I chose to use red and white cardstock papers.

The images cut good and makes a cute card. These cards require a lot of gluing!
Thanks for your visit!

Day 3 - Valentine's Day Cards

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

This is Cricut Valentine's Day Card 13.  These are Cricut single image cards. Another simple card, but a pretty cut-out front. I cut the card at 5.5" width from Recollections red paper and backed the cut out with white Colorbok cardstock.

 Same card using purple paper!

Cricut Holiday Cakes is again used for the Happy Valentine's Day phrase.

The same red Recollections paper is used inside the card, but my camera did not capture that look.

Make a Wish Birthday Card

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

This card is made using one of the card images from Cricut Simple Everyday Cards. I needed a card for a birthday girl who loves purple. The cake and phrase Make a Wish are cute cut-outs on the card.

Cardstock is Keepsake Essentials Paper Pack. The purple paper reverses to a different shade of purple. Purple lace, pearls, and flowers finish the card. Did I add enough purple!!

Enjoy!

Day 1 Valentine's Day Cards

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

During the first two weeks of using my Cricut Explore, I chose to work on Valentine images which were free for my use during those two weeks. Today I will start sharing Valentine cards. This card is made with Cricut Valentine's Day Cards 11. Simple cards, but I love the cut out images. The card measures 6 1/2"x 5" and is cut from Colorbok white textured paper. Patterned paper liner is Paper Studio Country Road. I think it sets off the image as if the couple are standing in front of a wall.

Inside of card

Cricut Cartridges used for the inside:
Holiday Cakes - Happy Valentine's Day cut 4.75" width
Classroom Feb. March - chain of hearts cut 4.4" width

With access to so many pretty images, it was hard to choose which ones to actually cut. I appreciated the free access! What a great opportunity to use image cuts that I do not own. I may not have looked at Holiday Cakes and Classroom cartridges for Valentine Day images, but I like the pretty results!

Hope you enjoy this Valentine card!
