Ornament Card

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

I am working on Christmas cards! I really need to start earlier next year! This card is made using one of my recently purchased cartridges. I love Anna Griffin cartridges and thought it would be a perfect gift to myself!

Cricut Cartridges:
Anna's Lovely Layered Cards 2 - Ornament card is cut 10" wide x 7" high. The image has an envelope with it but I did not cut it...set size for the card. Two shades of red paper and two shades of green paper are used. I am not sure if you can actually see the two reds.
Anna's Christmas Cards & Embellishments- Sentiment "Greetings of the Season" is printed on the label frame from The First Few Years. Label is cut 4.77" wide x 4.77" high. I used a Pilot Precise V5 red pen to do the writing. This is used inside the card.

I enjoy the looks of this card and decided to make another card using some pattern papers from The Paper Studio Christmas Traditions Foil Pack.

Second Card

The sentiment for the second card is written on the Label Classic from The First Few Years using the same sentiment as first card. This label is cut 4.76" wide x 3.88" high.

Winter Wishes

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

It is beginning to feel like Winter in my neck of the woods! I am not quite finished with my outside Christmas decorating, but it too cold for me to be outside. I needed a little Cricut play time anyway!
The card measures 4.25" x 5. 50" and is cut from white card stock. Patterned papers are from the Paper Studio Winter Wonderland paper pack. I am playing along with the pretty Sketch 8 at Mary's CARDZ TV.

Cricut Cartridges:
A Quilted Christmas - Snow Girl is cut 1.91" wide x 2.5" high.
Jolly Holidays - Winter Wishes is cut 2.33" wide x 1" high.

NOEL

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Today I am sharing a Christmas card. I love the Cricut Christmas images and how this card turned out!

Cricut Cartridges:
Anna's Christmas Cards and Embellishments - Evergreen Boughs Card is cut 9.19" wide x 6.5" high. I chose to used the card with the holly leaves on the bottom rather than on the side. I hand cut a small strip of red to place behind the cut openings of the card and for the berries.
The sentiment Wishing You Joy is used inside the card.
Anna's Winter Wonderland - NOEL is cut 5" wide x 2.75" high. This image uses four colors of paper and works well to be the main focus of the card.

Ms. Claus Sewing

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving! Now my thoughts turn to Christmas decorating and making cards! This card measures 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" and is cut from Recollections red cardstock. Patterned papers are from my scrap stash. I am playing with the fun Sketch 10 from Mary at CARDZ TV.

Cricut Cartridges:
Santa's Village -  Mrs. Claus Sewing is cut 1.62" wide x 2.5" high. This cartridge is one of the print and cut cartridges...love these images!
Using the Insert Images, I added a circle that is cut 2.75". I added a square and changed it to a 2.25" wide x 2" high rectangle. Two were cut at this size.
Cuttlebug:
Script folder was used on the circle. Kassie's Brocade was used on the two rectangles. I like the looks of the embossing.
Sentiment Merry Christmas is from Mary's CARDZ TV Home for Christmas stamp set. Crinkle ribbon bow is from Karen at Little Scraps Pieces.  Thanks to both ladies for my wins.

My Sheri's Crafts - Ch. 195 Winter

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Today begins a new challenge at My Sheri Crafts! Design team sister Sue is hostess of  Challenge 195 - Winter. She asks that we create a project that has anything to do with Winter: Christmas, snow, hot chocolate, etc.

Some time back, I was lucky to win a SVG certificate from FCCB sponsored by The Dreaming Tree. So many pretty SVG files are available on the site and it took me awhile to choose. I chose the lovely Christmas Bendi Cards SVG bundle. As it was a Christmas selection, I am just now playing with the file. This is also my first try with a Bendi card. I love the image and how great it all went together. I used black for the Santa sleigh against the snowflake background paper that I had chosen. I used sizes as given in the instructions. I am really pleased with the results! Many thanks to FCCB and The Dreaming Tree
