Snow Angel

A big THANK YOU for all the visits and sweet comments left on my Hello Kitty Blog Hop post! To all my new followers, THANK YOU! So glad to have you as a crafting friend! Wasn't the Hop just great! I enjoyed visiting all the team members' blogs! Such a great group of designers and so much talent--I feel so honored being on the team! I am so happy to see some of my favorite challenge blogs are back after a much deserved holiday break! The design teams offer great inspiration this week!



Following Sketch 29 - Let It Snow at Jitterbuggin', Sherri asked us to include a Cricut cut, use blue somewhere on the card and include something snow related. My card is 5 X 6 1/2 inches. I used Cricut Cartridge Winter Frolic for all cuts on my card. The girl on page 38 was cut 2 1/2 inches; Snow Angel Phrase on page 39 was cut 2 inches, and inside Phrase Let It Snow on page 29 was cut 3 inches. I love using the Cuttlebug whenever I can and on this card, the folders used were Snowflakes, Polka Dots and Swiss Dots. I think embossing adds so much texture and dimension to the card. Used a Martha Stewart blue ink, Darice rhinestones (an after Christmas purchase) and pop dots.

    Such a cute card, Glenda! I love the colors you used and agree with you on embossing -- it really does add a lot. I also like the white cardstock. It looks like it has a pearl finish -- very pretty!!
