Welcome to Glenda's Cards! Thanks for visiting today!
This is my first Christmas card for 2012! Yes, I have good intentions of making more Christmas cards next year...we will see! I saw this cute sketch at Christmas Card Challenges and decided to play along. The tall card was cut from red cardstock at 9" x 8" and scored at 4". My papers are scraps from previous projects using Greetings of the Season paper pack that was bought at Hobby Lobby a couple of years ago.
Cricut cartridge:
Winter Lace - Snowflake 2 (8th image on first row) is cut at 2.25 from white cardstock. To bring out the smaller gold snowflakes in the background paper, the shadow cut is from gold paper.
Poinsettia is a paper flower from Making Memories that was purchased last year on clearance. Almost forgot these were in my stash! I inked the edges a bit and pop-dotted the flower on the snowflake.
Sentiment is a Christmas Crafts stamp on the gold paper. I used the Martha Stewart Doily Lace Trim punch on the green paper.
There are so many possibilities with the sketch. The weekly challenge runs for a couple more days so if you want to start on Christmas cards now, check out the blog!
