Welcome to Glenda's Cards and thank you for stopping by today!
My white card is 5" x 6 1/2' and is layered with a 4 3/4" x 6 1/4" patterned paper from ColorBok. I like the vintage look of the papers in this pack. Sometimes the paper is so pretty that it can stand alone, but I do enjoy adding Cricut cuts to make it more personal.
I am enjoying the Cricut Flower Shoppe cartridge. I thought I would check out You Tube to get more ideas and was pleased to see that Kimberly at My Craft Spot has some great videos sharing techniques of making flowers with the Flower Shoppe cartridge. To see her videos, look for Sentimental Scrapper.
I was inspired by the crumpled flower by Kimberly. I used Scallop 4 on page 13 and cut two of the images. I worked in the Cricut Craft Room--think the flower was 2.5 and 2.25. The center is Basic 4 on page 12 cut at 2.5. I get carried away in the CCR and forget to write down the actual sizes. I spritzed the cut papers with water, crumpled, and let dry. Edges are slightly inked. The layers are glued together and pop-dotted on the mat. This is my first try spraying water on a flower but I am pleased with the results of the flower. I will be making more!
Cricut Cartridges:
Flower Shoppe - Flower Scallop 4
Elegant Edges - Eyelet 3 page 68 --Oblong image cut at 3.00w x 3.861 h. It is embossed with the Cuttlebug Script folder. Small pearls are glued in the centers.
Birthday Bash - Phrase "Make a Wish" on Page 52 cut 1.833w x .472h. I love the banner look on the paper and thought that was a great place for the sentiment!
Hope you enjoy my card!

Love your crumpled flower, Glenda! I love to mist water on my die cuts before I run them through to emboss -- really gives them sharp/crisp embossed lines. Very pretty card!!!
