Another Floral Card

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Sadly and too quickly, I had to make another sympathy card. I used the same floral card image that I shared recently using the Cricut Anna's Cards and Embellishment cartridge. On the previous card, I used a pretty floral pattern paper as the liner behind the rose. This card is for one of my Red Hat friends who lost her husband. I chose to use this pretty purple paper behind the rose. The purple paper is double-sided with lavender made by The Paper Company. It has several colors of fibers running through the paper. Do you see the red? I just had to purchase all these pretty papers that the store had and they were on sale too! Of course, it was not too many left to be bought!

Card is cut 7" high from white cardstock and measures 5" x 7".  I added the word Love on the front of the card. That image is found on Cricut Sweethearts. Inside I used the lavender side of the paper.
The sentiment is also found on Anna's Cards and Embellishment cartridge.

The first card can be seen here. Just a change of paper can make a completely different card!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Love your card with the pretty purple paper. Sorry you had to make a sympathy card. They are not fun at all. But it is beautiful.

  2. I'm really sorry that you had to make another sympathy card Glenda, they are never any fun to make. But your card is simply stunning and perfect for your friend. I am going to have to break down and get this cart I think. lol Hugs, Brenda
