Welcome to Glenda's Cards!
The past week has been really busy. With all the recent heavy rains and flooding in our area, I have moved my parents in my house with me. Water should not go into their house, but the road became impassable last Saturday. Water had been rising 6 inches daily, but the last couple of days only 4 inches each day. Predictions are for the nearby river to crest on Thursday. Even with that date, it will probably still be several weeks before they can return home. Many acres of farmland are under water and lot of that land had already been planted with corn crops. Several families have moved out from the low-lying areas. My Cricut playing has been limited, but I hope to be playing more in the upcoming days.
I wanted to make a small Easter box for candy and to use as decoration. Since I have not bought any Easter candy, I am using peppermint in it now. Papers are from the pastel scrap stash. I decorated each side of the box using Cricut images. Eight cartridges were used!
Cricut Cartridges:
Cindy Loo - Basket is cut 11.50" wide.
Classroom April- May - Happy Easter is cut 2.75" wide. A piece of acetate is glued to the sentiment to hold in the box.
Create A Critter - Rabbit is cut 2.25" high.
Easter 2010 - Chick is cut 2.25" high.
Easter Magic - Blue, yellow, lavender egg is cut 2.25" high.
Plantin Schoolbook - Grass is cut 2.15" wide x .47" high

Pink twine from Diana at DL.ART is used for the four bows on each corner. Thank you Diana for my recent win!
