Welcome to Glenda's Cards!
Inside view!
Happy Saturday! It is time for a new and fun challenge at My Sheri Crafts! The theme for Challenge 184 is Land of the Free! Design Team sister Peachy asked that we make a project in red, white, and blue. I chose to make a Center Step Card using a pretty sheet of the Paper Studio Patriotic Damask paper. Solid colors are from the scrap stash. You can find the Center Step Card tutorial at SplitCoastStampers.
Cricut Cartridges:
Independence Day - Phrase Stars and Stripes is cut 3" wide. Large Patriotic heart is cut 1.75" wide and the smaller hearts are cut 1" wide. All images are pop-dotted on the card to add dimension.
Stand and Salute - Phrase Let Freedom Ring is cut 4.75" wide. This is used inside the card.
For the finishing touch, I used red and white twine to make bows. Thank you Diana at DL.ART for the pretty twine pack that I recently won.
Visit My Sheri Crafts to see all the pretty red, white, and blue projects by the design team! For more information about the projects please visit the individual blogs.
Now it is your turn to play along with us! We look forward to seeing your projects. Several Ooh La La awards will be given and one person will be chosen to be our next guest designer.
Thank you for your visits and comments!

Fabulous!!! Love red, white and blue.
ReplyDeleteVery nice card Glenda! I love that background paper!
ReplyDeleteAwesome step card. That background paper is perfect for this theme. My favorite part of this project... you actually used the negative cut for the sentiment inside! That looks great!
ReplyDeleteGlenda, this card is wonderful and it sure is patriotic! I love the trio of hearts at the bottom of the steps. I need to try making one of these cards soon!
