Let It Snow

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

We are having daily rain this week making it a good time to enjoy some paper crafting! Card measures 5" x 6 1/2" and is white card stock.  Glitter Snowflake papers are from Recollections Jingle Bells. I have had this paper pad for long time and finally decided to use the pretty pink/magenta snowflakes papers. I played along with the Sketch 30 at Paper Play Sketches but failed to make my post before the deadline. I do like the sketch!

Cricut Cartridges:
Pretty Pendants - Pendant is cut 1.75" wide x 5.75" high.
Using Basic Shapes, the rectangle is cut 3.20" wide x 3.97" high. The circle is cut 3" for the white and again at 3.15" for the blue circle.
Celebrate with Flourish - Skate is cut 2" wide x 2.28" high.
Holiday Cakes - Sentiment Let it snow is cut 2.13" wide x 1.25" high.

Cuttlebug Snowflakes folder is used on the white mat under the skates.
Martha Stewart Aspen Snowflakes edge punch was used to cut the white snowflakes which are randomly placed on the blue mat.

I am sharing my card with the following challenges:

  8. don't you just love it when a sketch makes it easy in your mind to create a card. It's kind of a challenge and also inspiration. Your card is so pretty - great colors and I just love those ice skates - they are a wonderful winter icon. Thanks for joining our challenge at BBTB2 this week - Stay warm - I'm trying (she says as she sits at her desk with the portable heater on her legs) haha

  9. Ice skating while it's snowflurrying - I bet that's fun.

I love how you embossed the mat under your skates. I never think to do that, but love the look. Thanks for joining us for our It's Snow Fun! challenge at Cut it Up.
