Die Cuttin' Divas - Ch. 344 World Hello Day

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

It is time for another fun challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas. Ch. 344 is World Hello Day!
My card measures 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" and is cut from green cardstock.

Cricut Cartridges:
Rob & Bob Garden Whimsey - Blooming Garden Card is cut 5.5" wide x 8.5" high. The word Hello is written with the Cricut Midnight pen on the yellow layer.
Inside the card--
Elegant Edges - Rectangle Leaf Frame is cut 4.5" wide x 3.827" high from pink and green cardstock.
Anna's Lovely Layered Cards - Happy birthday to you is written on a 4.083" wide x 3.827" high yellow cardstock.

Die Cuttin' Divas - Ch. 343 Thanks or Turkey

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

It is time again for another fun challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas. Ch. 343 is Thanks or Turkey. Thanksgiving will soon be here and I wanted to make a card for the occasion. My card is 5" x 6 1/2" cream cardstock. Papers are from Recollections and Craft Smith Fall Embossed papers.
Cricut Cartridges:
Enjoy The Seasons - I chose the turkey from this Print and Cut cartridge. 
Cricut Font Dear John - I added the word Thankful with the Cricut Midnight pen to the banner.
Using Shapes feature in Cricut Design Space, the patterned paper mat is cut 4.75" wide x 6.25" high. Orange mat is cut 4.38" wide x 5.37" high. Brown acorn paper is cut 4.25" wide 4.25" high.
Cricut Ribbons and Rosettes - Two yellow scallop mats were each cut 4.25" wide x 1.292" high. I was using yellow scrap papers--reason for cutting 2.
Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder was used on the two yellow mats. They were glued to the brown mat.

Cricut Classroom Oct.-Nov. - Happy Thanksgiving was cut 4.25" wide x 1.846" high.

Die Cuttin' Divas - Ch. 342 Sketch

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

It is time again for another fun challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas! Since this is the first challenge in November, it is a sketch challenge! I chose to use the pretty sketch for a Christmas card. The cream color card measures 5" x 6 1/2". Patterned papers are from The Paper Studio Yuletide Joy.

Cricut Cartridges:
Using Insert Shapes feature in Cricut Design Space, the Holly paper is cut 4.75" wide x 6.25" high for the background mat. Plaid paper is cut 2" wide x 6.25" high. Gold patterned paper is cut 3.25" wide x 1.25" high. White layer is cut 3" wide x 1" high.
Anna's Christmas Cards and Embellishments - Poinsettia is cut 3" wide x 2.885" high. The sentiment Happy Christmas to you is written on the white mat using the Cricut Midnight pen.

Die Cuttin' Divas - Ch. 341 Pumpkin Season

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

It is time for another fun challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas. Ch. 341 is Pumpkin Season. We want to see pumpkins! My card measures 5" x 6 1/2" white cardstock. Craft Smith Fall Embossed tan and yellow papers are used on the background. Other papers are from the scrap stash.

Miss Kate Cuttables Pumpkin Group was a free image. Many thanks for this pretty file! I cut the pumpkin group at 3.417" wide x 2.197" high using several different colors of paper.

Cricut Cartridges:
Ribbons and Rosettes - Scallop border is cut 4.50" wide x .093" high from the green paper. 
Using the Cricut Font Monday, Happy Fall was written with the Cricut Midnight pen.
Bits and Pieces - Orange banner is cut 1.35" wide x 5.5" high.

Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder is used on the white mat. 

I was inspired to play with a pretty sketch from Card Maps January 2016.

Die Cuttin' Divas Ch. 339 Count Your Buttons!

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

It is time for another fun challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas. Ch. 339 is Count Your Buttons! We want to see buttons on your project! My card measures 4 1/4" wide x 5 1/2" high. Papers are from the Paper Studio and scrap stash.

Cricut Cartridges:
The First Few Years - Buttons Photo Frame is cut 4.20" wide x 5.45" high.
Jolly Holidays - Snowman Ice Skating is cut 2.39" wide x 3.75" high.
Inside of the card:
Holiday Cakes - Let It snow is cut 3.5" wide x 2.068" high.
Tiny green buttons are added to the snowman.

Die Cuttin' Divas - Ch. 338 Random Act of Kindness

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Here we are with another fun challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas. Ch. 338 is Random Act Kindness (Do Something Nice Day). My card measures 5" x 7". Papers are cut from Craft Smith Wedding Neutrals Paper Pad. 

I wanted to brighten someone's day who had a recent surgery, so this card was happy mail!

Cricut Cartridges:
Anna's Lovely Layered Cards 2 - Rose Banner Card is cut 10.037" wide x 7.059. You can see this includes several layers of paper. Because I mail this type of card, I glue the layers. I did not add the pop-dots between layers.
Anna's Lovely Layered Cards - Praying For You is written with the Cricut Midnight pen.
Inside of the card -- I cut  a 4.50" square shape of the green paper. The pink paper mat is cut 4.25" square.
Using Anna's Lovely Layered Cards 2, the sentiment Feel Better Soon is written with the Cricut Mignight pen on the pink mat.

Die Cuttin' Divas - Ch. 337 Sketch

Can you believe it is already October! We are having a sketch challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas this week! My card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Papers are from the stash.

Photo Play Autumn Day - Apple Circle is cut 3.35". This is another print and cut image from this cartridge. I enjoy playing with these images. 
Using the same cartridge for the inside of card - hello Autumn is cut 3.25" wide x 3.50" high.

Die Cuttin' Divas - Ch. 335 National Coffee Day

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Today begins a new fun challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas! Ch. 335 is National Coffee Day. We ask that you use coffee or shades of brown. My card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

Cricut Cartridges:
Imagine More - This is another Print and Cut cartridge that I have been wanting to try. 
Boxed Frame is cut 4" x 5.25".
Cup is cut 2.5" wide x 2.944" high. Can you see the word Breathe in the steam? How cute is that!
White mat is cut 3.75" wide x 5.00" high. Pennant Photo Page is cut 4" x 5.25" high.
Anna's Lovely Layered Cards - Thinking Of You is written with the Cricut midnight pen on the Pennant photo page. This is used inside the card.

Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder is used on the white mat.

Die Cuttin' Divas Ch. 334 - 3D, Shaker, or Shape

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Today begins another fun challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas. Ch. 334 is all about 3D, Shaker, or Shape! I am playing with a fun shaped card image from a recently purchased Cricut cartridge. Papers are from Anna Griffin Floral Cardstock.

Cricut Cartridges:
Anna's Gracious Giftables - Coin Purse Holder is cut 17.61" wide x 9.581" high. This size includes the band that wraps around the holder. With Love is written with the Cricut Midnight pen on a 3" wide x 1.25" rectangle. 
Anna's Fancy Flips Card Making Kit and Cuttin' Dies - The purple flower was in the recently purchased kit.

A crinkle ribbon bow completes the card.
 
This can be used for a gift card or cash. I will add a sentiment to the inside before giving the card to the recipient.

Die Cuttin' Divas - Ch. 333 Sketch

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Can you believe it is already September! Since it is the first Tuesday of the month, we are having a sketch challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas. I enjoy working with sketches because I can choose the theme of the card. With Christmas fast approaching, I have a Santa card to share. Card is 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".

Anna's Christmas Cards and Embellishments - Sending Christmas cheer sentiment. Also, the sentiment used for the inside of the card.

Die Cuttin' Divas - Ch. 330 Back to School

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

It is time for another fun challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas. As first day of school is fast approaching or maybe schools have started in your area, we are having a Back to School challenge this week! I chose to do a scrapbook page for one of my grandsons. Our school has not started yet, so I will add photos later. Papers are Pressed Petals School Days. I used the blue and gold colors to represent the school's colors.

Cricut Cartridges:
Family Album - Back to School Scrapbook Layout is cut 11.75" wide x 11.75" high. The images are placed on the 12" x 12" page of striped paper.
K-12 - 7th Grade is cut 2.891" wide x 3.111" high.
Plantin Schoolbook - FA is cut 1.085" wide x .665" high. This represents the name of the school.

Die Cuttin' Divas - Ch. 328 Sketch

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

It is the first Tuesday of the month and that means it is time for another fun Sketch Challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas! I enjoy working with sketches! I tried something different with this pretty sketch. All the pretty papers and images are Print and Cut with my Cricut Explore. My printer is HP Deskjet 1056. The image colors are printed nicely on white cardstock. Card measures 5" x 6 1/2" and is white cardstock.

Cricut Cartridges:
Anna's Perfect Patterns: Pink rose background mat is cut 4.75" wide x 6.25" high. Blue diamonds mat is cut 3" wide x 1.5" high. Multicolored Stripe mat is cut 4" wide x 1.411" high. 
Anna's Elegant Embellishments 2 - Lattice Icon is cut 3. 597" wide x 2.593" high from Anna's Perfect Patterns - Green Leaves Pattern and Yellow Woven Pattern printed paper.
Anna's Lovely Layered Cards 2 - Heartfelt Thanks is written with the Cricut Midnight pen.
Anna's Roses - Double rose is cut 2.086" wide x 2.77" high. Single rose is cut 2" wide x 2.243"high. I did not record size of smaller roses inside of the card.
Anna's Fantastic Flipcards - Corner is cut 1.50" wide x 1.523" high. Inside sentiment is written with the black pen.

Die Cuttin Divas - Ch. 326 Sci Fi

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

It is time for another fun challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas! Ch. 326 is Sci Fi (Aliens, UFO, Space).  I had no idea what I would make until I found this cute spaceship image in Cricut Design Space. I am using papers from the stash.

Cricut Cartridges:
Crazy Cute Cards - Spaceship Card is cut 25.68" wide x 11.095" high. Size includes the envelope. Finished card size measures 9.75" high. 
Stencil - Blast off is cut 1.50" wide x . 699" high. 

Card opened.

Just a simple card, but I think it turned out cute! I have no need for this card at present time, but Happy Birthday or any appropriate sentiment can be added on the black section. Great for a younger guy or maybe an older guy!

Die Cuttin' Divas - Ch. 325 Spa Time

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

It is time for another fun challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas. Ch. 325 is Spa Time. My card is 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" white cardstock. The pretty patterned papers are from DCWV Fresh Floral Stack.

Cricut Cartridges:
Using Insert Shapes in Cricut Design Space, the green dot paper is cut 5.25" wide x 4" high. The white mat is cut 4.25" wide x 3" high.
Elegant Edges - Butterfly Scallop Rectangle is cut 5" wide x 3.75" high. This is the floral paper. I removed the butterfly by welding a small square over the image.
Heritage - Bath tub is cut 2.25" wide x 1.31" high.
Paper Dolls for Everyday - Bath Bubbles cut 1.638" wide x .509" and Towel cut .494" wide x .71" high.
Splish Splash - Relax is cut 2.75" wide x 1.246" high.

Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder is used on the white mat layer.
Zig Jelly Roll pen is used for the dash marks to add a little more interest to the images.
I hand cut a strip of paper and made the rosette and added the pink rhinestone.

Die Cuttin' Divas - Ch. 324 Sketch

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Happy 4th of July to you! Hope you are having a great day!

Today begins another fun challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas! First Tuesday of the month and that means Ch. 324 is a Sketch challenge. I chose to use the pretty sketch for a Patriotic card. Card measures 6 1/2" wide x 5" high and is cut from white cardstock. Patterned paper is leftover from a previous project.

Cricut Cartridges:
I cut the layers for my card using Insert Shapes in Cricut Design Space.
Red layer is cut 6.25" wide x 4.75" high. Two white layers are each cut 2.75" wide x 4.50" high. Two patterned paper layers are each cut 2.50" wide x 4.25" high.
Independence Day - Hat is cut 3.25" wide x 3.159" high.
Holidays Through the Years Iron On - Using contour feature, the stars on the image were deleted, leaving only the word Freedom. Freedom was cut 1.932" wide x .444" high. 
Banners - Banner is cut 3.266" wide x .754" high. 
Inside the card:
Insert Shapes - Blue layer is cut 6.25" wide x 4.75" high. White layer is cut 4.25" wide x 4" high.
Cake Basics - Happy is cut 2.964" wide x 1.19" high
Independence Day - 4th of July is cut 2.521" wide x 2.547" high.

Cuttlebug Stars embossing folder is used on the hat. Stars are the cut outs from the hat band. Hat and Banner are pop-dotted on card. A little Colorbox blue inking adds the finishing touch.

Die Cuttin' Divas - Ch. 323 Wedding or Anniversary

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

It is time for another fun challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas! Ch. 323 is Wedding or Anniversary. I chose to make an anniversary card for my neighbors. 

Cricut Cartridges:
Anna's Lovely Layered Cards 2 - Floral Banner Card is cut 8.465" wide x 5.4" high. This size does not include the envelope that comes with the image. The sentiment On Your Special Day is from the same cartridge. It is written with the Cricut Jade pen. I like the way these cards turn out by using several layers of solid colored papers.
Inside the card:
Anna's Garden Cards & Embellishments - Using Insert Shapes in Cricut Design Space, the anniversary sentiment is written on a 3.75" x 3" white rectangle. The jade mat is cut 4" x 3 1/4".

Die Cuttin' Divas - Ch. 322 Camping Fun with Woodland Critters

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!
 
It is time again for another fun challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas! Ch 322 is all about Camping Fun with Woodland Critters. I have not made a side step card in quite some time. I thought this card style would be a good way to display several woodland images. A tutorial for the step card card can be found at SplitCoast Stampers. The fun thing about these cards is choosing all the images you want to display. When card is folded, it measures 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". Papers are from my scrap stash.

Cricut Cartridge: Campin' Critters
Forest is cut 3.052" wide x 2.52" high. 
Moose Hiking is cut 1.815" wide x 3.255" high. 
Squirrel Reading is cut 2.75" wide x 2.536" high.
The Great Outdoors Card is cut 2.837" wide x 1.463" high. This size does not include the envelope that is available with the image.
Sun Trumpet is cut 1.252" wide x .911" high.
This Way sign is cut 2.153" wide x .483" high.
 
Can you believe I only used one Cricut cartridge for all the images. This cartridge has really cute images!

I added twine from Diana at DL.ART. Thanks Diana for the pretty twines.
Three brads were added on the right side of card.

Die Cuttin' Divas - Ch. 321 Summer Foods

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Hello Crafting Friends! It is time again for another challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas! Challenge 321 is Summer Foods. With so many yummy Summer foods, this should be a fun challenge. My card measures 4 1/4" wide x 5 1/2" high. The card image is cut using Craft Smith Wedding Neutrals. I cut the liner using Recollections pink paper. 

Cricut Cartridges:
Alexis Mattox Quick Cut Cards - Ice cream card is cut 9.8" wide x 13.185" high. This size does include the envelope. The Cricut Midnight pen was used for the drawings. This is my second time to use the nice cartridge. I really like the addition of the pen work on the image.
Inside the card:
Imagine More Cards - Happy Birthday is cut 3" wide x 2.15" high. The gift box is cut 1.906" wide x 2.2" high. These are print and cut images. I never bought the Cricut Imagine machine. I am happy that the Imagine images are available with the Cricut Access Subscription.

Die Cuttin' Divas - Ch. 320 Sketch

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Can you believe it is already June! Time seems to be flying! Today begins a new challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas. For Ch. 320, we have a pretty sketch for you to use on your project!
My card measures 5" x 7" and is cut from white Colorbok cardstock. Other papers are left over papers from previous projects. 

Cuttlebug:
Anna Griffin Modern Vines folder is used on the green paper. The embossing adds pretty detail to the paper.
Swiss Dots folder is used on the white circle mat.

Cricut Cartridges:
Anna's Vintage Florals  - Sunflower on front of card is printed and cut at 1.83" high x 2.58" wide. Extra sunflower was cut for the inside but I failed to record the size. I love the flowers on this cartridge!
Anna's Gracious Giftables - With Love is printed with the Cricut Midnight pen on a 2.25" wide x .736 high purple paper.
Ribbons and Rosettes - Circle Accent is cut 3.50" wide x 3.47" high. I aligned the circles on the green paper and hand trimmed the excess off.

Anna's Fantastic Flip Cards - Sentiment is printed with the Midnight pen on an inserted 4.083" square. I just purchased this cartridge. Cartridges were out of stock on HSN when I tried to purchase. I was happy to see the cartridge is now available through Cricut!

Die Cuttin' Divas - Ch. 319 Anything Goes

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

It is time again for another fun challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas! Ch. 319 is Anything Goes. This may be one of the favorite challenges. Our challenges do require the use of a die cut!
 
I am late in making my blog post. We had very severe storms in my area on Sunday night. Just a few broken limbs at my house but many folks have had massive clean-ups with home damages and vehicle damages. My parents' place had lots of damage. Some areas have been without power for more than two days. Thankfully no one was injured. My Internet access has just been repaired. 

My card measures 5" x 7"  and is cut from white Colorbok cardstock. Other solid papers are Recollections and patterned paper is from K&Company.

Cuttlebug:
Anna Griffin Mix and Match Folders - Calligraphy Frame is used on the pink paper. Happy birthday to you is embossed on the white paper. 
Eleanor Laces Cut and Emboss folders are used on the two yellow images.

Cricut Cartridges:
Anna Griffin Vintage Florals - Carolina 4 flower group is cut 2.3" wide x 3" high. I cut two images and used pop-dots between the layers.

Anna's Sophisticated Soiree  - The white chain label is cut 4.50" wide x 2.39" high.
Anna's Lovely Layered Cards 2 - You Are So Special is printed using the Cricut Pink Crystal pen on the white label.
