Thank you Larelyn

Welcome to my new followers! Thank each of you for taking time to visit me today!

Recently I was fortunate to be chosen winner of Larelyn's blog candy at Handmade From My Heart.
This card is my "Thank You" to Larelyn!! She is very creative and has beautiful cards on her blog. I enjoy seeing all her work! Visit her blog for great inspiration!

Card is 6 1/2 X 5  white cardstock.
Using sketch 1 from RAQ'S Card Challenge 11-03 to 11-09, I chose these pretty K&Company papers to make my card. Rather than placing the patterned paper vertical as Sketch 1, I rotated the papers horizontally. I did not add a lot of embellishments - wanted the pretty papers to be seen!

Cricut Cartridges:
Storybook - Robin page 31 regular and shadow cuts at 2 inches. I used a pretty light blue paper for the bird.
Scallop oval page 49 is cut 4 inches.
Sentimentals -- Thank You page 79 is cut 1 1/4 inches.

Martha Stewart - fern punch and inks
Recollections gemstones

inside of card

Larelyn, hope you enjoy the card! If you will email me your snail mail address, I will get the card in the mail to you. Again Thank You for your kindness!!

Autumn Days/CAC Owl

I am loving Fall --- well until all the leaves have fallen and then I have to rake!

This card is made using the sketch at Jitterbuggin' this week. The challenge is all about owls! The sketch is optional, but we must include a circle and a square somewhere on the card, add an owl, and a cricut cut.

The card is 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 cut from brown cardstock. I added layers using some pretty fall papers.

Cricut Cartridges:
Create A Critter - Owl is cut 2 1/4 inches using several papers; circle is cut 3 1/4 inches and again at 3 inches; Branch is cut 1 1/4 inches.

I handcut the corners to add a different paper on the square. Autumn Day is from my treasure chest but the included ribbon was not the colors I needed. I removed the ribbon and cut a piece of the paper and run it through the metal emblem. I like the look now.
Lots of inking and pop-dotted the owl!

Challenges:
Jitterbuggin' - Wise Guys - Owl
Fantabulous Cricut - Bird Bonanza
Cooking With Cricut - The Colors of Fall

Hope you enjoy this one!! Thanks for your comments!

Bluebird of Happiness

Good morning! Today I am sharing my little bluebird of happiness! See all the bling! Hope the card will bring a smile!

I am excited to enter this card at a new challenge blogspot M.A.G. Challenge By The Page. Melissa, Adrian, and Gloria selected Cricut Cartridge Create A Critter page 45 for this week's challenge. Only circut cuts from the selected cartridge and page listed can be used on the card. Everything else can be embellishments. The choices on the selected page include a bird and alligator. When I saw the little bird, I knew that I wanted to make a bluebird.

Card is 6 1/2 X 5 white cardstock.

Cartridges:
Create A Critter - Bird is cut 2 1/2 inches; Grass is cut 1 inch; Hearts cut 1 3/4 inches; and Smile is cut 1 inch in white and again in blue to offset it since there is no shadow cut for the word.

Paper:
My Minds Eye Home Glitter Book - I love all the glitter on these papers... adds a lot of bling!!
Colorbok Textured Cardstock for the white.

Recollections gemstone for the eye and added a pretty blue flower.
Martha Stewart -- Edge punch and inks
Limited use of Cricut cuts really does challenge me and I enjoyed making this card!! Hope I have the cartridge for the upcoming challenge!!

Scrap Queen

Good morning!  Welcome to my new followers! I wish to send a big THANK YOU to all my followers for your support, visits, and kind comments!! I appreciate all your comments!

Now to my card using sketch 1 from RAQ'S Card Challenge 10-27 to 11-2!
I am enjoying the Cricut Lite Lovely Floral cartridge. Don't you like the words "Scrap Queen"? I have been wanting to add this to a card ever since I got the cartridge. So here it is!!

Card is 5 x 6 1/2 white cardstock. I used some of my favorite pages from K&Company. I enjoy how the papers compliment each other. First layer of paper is cut 5 x 6 1/2. The little squares are each cut 1 1/2 inches.

Cartridges: Lovely Floral
Frame2 cut 3 1/2 inches using the same paper as the background. I hand cut the paper inside the frame 3 1/8 x 3 1/8 inches using a complimentary paper.
Scrap Queen is cut 1 3/4 inches and Queen is again cut using same size of different paper.
The flourish is cut 1 1/2 inches. It is part of the Creativity cut--used only the flourish cut.

Martha Stewart - Embossed Pop-up Daisy Punch for the flower, cut twice and staggered the petals.
Added a pearl from my treasure chest to accent the flower. Lots of inking!

Challenge:
Bitten by the Bug 2 - Flourish from Cindy Lou. I do not have this cart, so I used Lovely Floral.

This card is made for a friend who makes beautiful scrapbook pages. I love her work! Hope she will enjoy the card!

Pumpkins for Sale

I have been having so much fun in the pumpkin patch! Gathered a few more and made another fall card using Sherri's pretty sketch from Jitterbuggin' Sketch 21- the Pumpkin Patch.

The card is 5 X 6 1/2 and has several layers of paper according to the sketch. Paper is from the two-sided paper pack that I used on my Fall/Window card. I just love this paper!! I needed a little farmer boy to help sell these pumpkins so he is from Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge.

Cricut Cartridges:
Everyday Paper Dolls - Leaves cut varying sizes 1 to 2 1/2 inches; Farmer cut 2 3/4 inches
Paper Doll Dress Up - Fence cut 1/12 inch   Can you see the fence--I almost covered it!!!
Stretch Your Imagination - Pumpkins cut varying sizes 3/4 to 2 inches
Create a Critter - Wagon (oops I do not have the size), Flag cut at 1 1/2--- To make a sign, I cut off the flag part and handcut the background paper for the placement of the price.
Cricut Pooh Font Set -- font and numbers

Cuttlebug folders: Houndstooth-Fence; Divine Swirls-Pumpkins; Diamonds in the Rough-white background

Ink and lots of pop dots to create the layers. Added a little rafia bow.
Paper: Recollections Autumn pack

Challenges:
Jitterbuggin' - Follow sketch; at least one pumpkin; emboss something, any type/any way; include Cricut cut

Maybe I can find more challenges using Fall theme!!
