Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

I enjoy working with Anna Griffin's cartridges. My biggest decision is choosing the image I want to use next. I have so many cartridges and all the images are pretty. I have not cut this card yet so it was time to do it! This card measures approximately 5" x 7" and is cut using white Colorbok paper for the card and Recollections papers for the other colors.

Cricut Cartridges:

Anna's Lovely Layered Cards 2  - Butterfly Banner Card is cut 9.865" wide x 6.903" high. The size is for only the card. I eliminated the envelope.

We Love You A bunch is printed on the front of the card using the Cricut Midnight pen.

Anna's Sophisticated Soiree - Star label is cut 4.50" wide x 3.19" high from lavender paper and 4.25" wide x 3.01" high from the pink paper.

Anna's Lovely Layered Cards - Happy Mother's Day is printed on the pink star label with the Midnight pen. This is used inside the card.

Die Cuttin' Divas - Ch. 315 May Sketch

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Can you believe it is May already? Time seems to be flying! Today begins a fun sketch challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas. My card is white cardstock and measures 5" x 6 1/2". K&Company Patterned papers and Colorbok papers are used for my card.

Cricut Cartridges:

Anna's Vintage Florals - This cartridge has 15 images of pretty florals that are print and cut images. At the present time, this seems to be my go to cartridge for floral images. Cluster of flowers is cut 3.25" wide x 2.18" high. I cut two images and placed pop dots in between them for added dimension. The image was glued on the tag.

Anna's Christmas Kitsch - Tag 2 is cut 3.01" wide x 4" high. I eliminated the small opening on the tag.

Anna's Elegant Embellishments 2 - Make a Wish is printed on an inserted 2.71" wide x 4" high rectangle using the Cricut Midnight pen.

Anna's Lace Cards and Embellishments  - Butterfly is cut 1.35" wide x 1.55" high.

Inside the card:

Anna's Lovely Layered Cards 2 - Sentiment Happy Birthday to You is written with the Midnight pen on an inserted 4.75" wide x 6.25" high rectangle.

Cuttlebug:

Anna Griffing Woven Diamonds folder is used on the white tag. I used Dew Drop Versa Magic Pixie Dust ink to highlight the embossing. 

Recollection pearls finish the card.

Die Cuttin' Divas - Ch. 314 Chevron and/or Polka Dots

Happy Tuesday! It is time again for another fun challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas. Ch. 314 is Chevron and/or Polka Dots with any die cut. My card is white card stock and measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I made a Mother's Day card for a friend using polka dots. The pretty glitter papers are from My Mind's Eye Home. I have had this paper pad for several years. I am playing along with a card sketch from PageMaps.

Lovely Floral  - Doily is cut 2.27" wide x 2.31" high.

Anna's Elegant Embellishments 2  - Love is written on the doily with the Cricut Midnight pen.

Sending You Love Mother's Day

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Today I am sharing a Mother's Day card. Since losing my Mom in February, this type of card is kinda hard to make. Card is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" white cardstock. I am using patterned scrap papers from DCWV Fresh Floral Stack and solids are Recollections. I am using Mary's CARDZ TV Sketch 8. I will be giving this card to my grandkids to give their Mom.

Cricut Cartridge:

Using Insert Shapes in Cricut Design Space, the floral paper is cut 4" wide x 5.25" high. The purple circle pattern paper is cut 1.5" wide x 5.25" high. Yellow strip is cut .75" wide x 5.25" high. Green mat is cut 2.5" wide x 3.25" high and the white mat is cut 2.25" wide x 3" high.

Spring Fling  - Flower Bunch is cut 2.21" wide.

Florals Embellished  - Happy Mother's Day is cut 3.5" wide x 1.89" high. This is used inside the card.

Sentiment "Sending you love" is from Mary's Encouraging Thoughts stamp set at CARDZ TV. I used a purple ink. Thank you Mary for the pretty stamps and sketches!

Die Cuttin' Divas - Ch. 313 Any Shape Card

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Today begins a new fun challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas. Ch. 313 is Any Shape Card! 

As you know, I use my Cricut Explore machine a lot. Cricut cartridges and Cricut Access have a variety of shaped cards. The hardest part is selecting which card to try! I chose a card that I have not made previously. Papers are Recollections and White Colorbok.

Cricut Cartridges:

Crazy Cute Cards - Mother's Day Bouquet Card is cut 22.39" wide x 14.71" high. This also includes the envelope. The finished card measures 5 1/8" wide x 4 3/4" high. I made two cards, one focusing on purple flowers and the other on pink flowers.

Cindy Loo - Thinking of you is cut 3.50" wide x 1.84" high. This is used inside the card.
