Red/Purple Birthday Card

My card today is for a Red Hat Lady and will be entered in some fun challenges!

Cricut Cartridges:
Wild Card - Doily card on page 52. I cut the card from red Recollections cardstock at 5". Using the Liner feature, the purple paper is cut at 5" and the purple/white gingham paper is cut at 5.50". This gave me a larger gingham circle to lay over the solid purple paper.
Cricut American Alphabet - This is one of the preloaded cartridges that came on the Expression2. I like the shoe which is the second image on first row. I think it works well for a Red Hat Lady! The purple layer is the blackout feature and is cut at 2.25". Using the shift key, the main shoe image is cut at 2.25".
Cuttlebug Folders:
Happy Birthday - purple mat; Swiss Dots - shoe; and Birthday (4 pack) -Celebrate on the hand cut tag.
For some extra bling, I added the Recollections Glitter Velvet Purple ribbon, Recollections rhinestones, and a Just Picture This Red Hat brad. Lots of Martha Stewart purple inking and the tag is pop-dotted.

Challenges:
Birthday Sundaes - #16 Anything Goes and include birthday wording
Die Cuttin' Diva's - #22 Sketch
Cooking with Cricut - #41 Anything Goes Cricut
Emma's Throwback Thursday  - Use Wild Card or Just Because and embossing
Frosted Designs - Recipe - ribbon or trim, rhinestones or pearls, charm
More Than Favors - Wild Card

Enjoy!
