Nuts About You

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

I have been playing with the Cricut "Just Because" Cards cartridge. It is one of those cartridges that I just had to buy. I have had it for several months and would you believe today is my first time to use it. I was working in the Cricut Craft Room and decided to try one of the card features. For some reason I never could hide the fold marks for the card. I do like the scalloped edges on the card!
Page 63 - Card feature was cut 9" which makes a 4" x 9" folded card. Squirrel and layers are on the same page. I used the stencil features for the "nuts about you" sentiment which was cut 1.75".
Page 38 - Background mat was cut 3.444" x 5.306".

Houndstooth Folder - Squirrel
Distressed Stripes Folder- Background mat
Card was cut from Kraft cardstock and other papers are from my stash. Lots of inking and a wiggle eye for the squirrel.
I think the card will be great for a masculine Valentine card! What do you think?

    First of all your blog is GORGEOUS! Had to say that. Your card is fantastic. I have the just because cards cartridge and didn't know that sentiment was on there. Just goes to show I need to use my Cricut carts more. Thanks for playing with the DCD's this week.
