Red Hat Lady 3-D Shoe

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Thanks for stopping by today! I recently purchased Cricut Princess Party cartridge and of course, my first project has to be a Red Hat Lady theme! The shoe is one of the reasons that I wanted the cartridge but several other cuts will work in a Red Hat theme!
Working in the Cricut Craft Room, I cut the shoe at 7 1/2" which is the largest size that would fit on the 12x12 paper. Paper is Bazzill Ruby Slipper--just love that name for the paper!!

The circle for the fabric yoyo had been cut some time back and I stitched it up to use on my shoe. Finished size measures 1 1/2". I glued one of my Red Hat buttons in the center of the yoyo and added a purple feather under the yoyo. Other supplies include Purple fabric trim, Recollections Floral Embellishments, gemstones, and pop dots. The "Friends" and button embellishments are from Dress It Up Friends button package. Red Hatters must have their feathers and bling!

Close up view of front of the shoe.

This was a fun project and went together really well. Next time, I may cut an extra paper using the shoe image so the shoe can be lined with a different patterned paper.
Hope you enjoy!
