BBTB2 - Patriotic

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Thanks for stopping by today! It is Monday and you know that means another fun and inspirational challenge at BBTB2! Our talented design team sister Susan is our hostess for this week and she asked us to make a Patriotic project using any Cricut cartridge.

My card is 5" x 6 1/2" white cardstock. The Patriotic patterned paper is Recollections. Rest of the papers are from my stash stack.
Cricut cartridge:
Independence Day - Float is cut at 3 1/2". I have not used this image before and I do like the finished look.
Phrase "4 of July" is cut 1.75".  Red Gemstones accent the 4.
Cuttlebug: Measure x Measure - I embossed the stars across the top of the white mat and accented the centers with tiny Red Recollections gemstones.
Crinkled Ribbon is 3 Girl JAM - I am having fun using the pretty ribbons from the Red, White, & Blue bundle.

Be sure to visit BBTB2 to see all the lovely projects by the talented design team. You can read more about the projects by visiting the individual blogs. We appreciate your visits and comments!
Now it is your turn to play along with us! I want to remind you that this is a Cricut challenge! You must use a Cricut cut on your project and mention in your blog post which cartridge was used for your project. The Challenge rules are posted on the  BBTB2 blog.
One person will be awarded the Project of the Week badge! It could be you!

Challenges:
Simply Create Too - Ch. 16 Country Where You Live - USA (ends July 5)
