Cricut Christmas Cards

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Today I am sharing my first card made using the Cricut Christmas Cards cartridge. I decided to buy myself a little early gift! lol This is an older cartridge (I think 2010) and the actual cartridge was sold out so I purchased the digital copy of this cartridge. I prefer the actual cartridge, but I really like this scene!
We seldom receive snow is my area and of course I do not have a horse and carriage. Sometimes though we visit a town that is decorated so pretty during the Christmas season and they do have a carriage ride! It is such a fun way to see all the pretty lights and decorations!
Using Cricut Craft Room, the image and layers are cut at 5".  I cut the words Joy and Peace which are also on this cartridge but did not record the size. I chose to use Joy! Card base is red Recollections paper.
Designer paper is Recollections Naughty or Nice Paper Pad. I used four of the patterned papers. It may not show very well in the photo, but the green dot and holly paper have glittered areas. Other solid papers are from the scrap stash. Cuttlebug Distressed Stripes was used on the tree.

  6. I love this scene and the way you put it in the frame. I don't have snow or horses and carriages either but still fun to creat them when it's cold ;)

  12. I love this scene too and is the main reason I bought this cart when it came out. lol I haven't even used it yet, so you have inspired me to get it out and use the darn thing. You have made this card look so beautiful, the colors and papers that you have used makes this card/scene even more stunning than it already is!! I might as well get a head start on some cards for next year right?!
