Pumpkin Card Using Damask Decor
I am playing again with Cricut Damask Decor. This time I chose the pretty cut for the pumpkin. Card is 5" x 6 1/2" and is layered with a plaid K&Comapny paper. This image can be found on page 68. I used the main images, Layer 1, and Layer 2 cut at 4 1/4".
I received the Cricut Straight from the Nest cartridge yesterday and thought I would try one of the corner features. The Fall corner is found on page 76 and is cut at 1 1/2".
I used lots of inking, pop-dotted the pumpkin image, and added a bow from Harvest Crafts ribbon.
Challenges:
Celebrate the Occcasion - Ch 37 - Fall and must have a pumpkin
The Shabby Tea Room - Ch 86 - Homespun Fall - colors and photo inspiration
Hope you enjoy my card. I appreciate your comments!

Colors of Fall
Hi and thanks for your visit! I love the colors of Fall and enjoy making cards with a Fall theme. I was excited to receive the Cricut Simply Scarecrow cartridge so of course I had to choose a scarecrow for my card! Card is 5" x 6 1/2" and layered with same size patterned paper.
Cricut cartridges:
Simply Scarecrow-- Lady scarecrow is cut 4". Crow is 1.75". Three images of the crow are available on this cut but I used only the larger one. Fall is cut 1.25". These cuts were done on the Expression2.
Wrap It Up - Page 45 - Fence is cut 4 3/4". My first cuts of the fence and grass were 5" which put the fence a bit too wide for the card. I resized and cut 4 3/4" for the fence, but used the 5" cut for the grass.
Stretch Your Imagination - Page 44 - Pumpkins cut 1 1/2" and 1" using the blackout function.
Page 48 - Leaves were cut using varying sizes.
Cuttlebug:
Distressed Stripes on the fence and Divine Swirls on the pumpkins!
I used lots of inking, 1/8" and 1/4" pop dots for the dimension, buttons, and raffia for the bows.
Challenges:
Celebrate the Occasion - Ch 36 Fall
Cooking With Cricut - Ch 57 Scarecrow, Hay, Crows and sketches.
Paper Playtime - Ch 58 Say It With Sentiment, and use buttons and bows
2 Sisters Challenge - Pumpkin Patch -must include a pumpkin

4th of July
Hi and thanks for dropping by today! It has been awhile since I have been able to post on my blog. Today I have a 4th of July card to share with you. So many challenges this week are requiring red, white, and blue or something to do with Independence Day. I love this celebration and our patriotic colors so I wanted to participate! I was striving for the Americana feel without the bright, pure colors. I really like the stripe and star patterned papers. They are leftover from last year's Patriotic challenges and I have been hoarding these papers for a year.
Card is 5" x 6 1/2". I am using Card Patterns Sketch 121 and this is my take on the sketch!
All my cuts are from Cricut Independence Day 2010 cartridge.
Flag banner- 2", Top mats -3.25" and 3.50". This cut has no shadow so I increased the cut by .25 inch and it works fine. 4 of July - 2", and hat is 2".
Cuttlebug folder is Measure x Measure set using the stars folder for the strip. I embossed an extra piece of red and blue papers, handcut the stars out, and placed them on the card.
I used lots of inking and pop-dotted the mats and the hat.
Challenges:
Card Patterns - Sketch 121

Fantabulous Cricut - #66 Happy 4th - red, white, and blue
