Autumn Pumpkin

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

It is a gorgeous Autumn day in my area. Loving these cooler days we are having...not sure how long it will last. Inspires me to make another Fall card. Card is 5" x 6 1/2" cut from Recollections cream card stock. The patterned papers are K&Company paper pad..some left over from previous projects. I followed the instructions for the Folded Paper Frame at Split Coast Stampers. The frame begins with a 4 1/4 square of double sided patterned paper. Edges are cut with a corner punch. I do not have the name of that punch. I thought the frame would work well for my pumpkin!

Cricut Cartridges:
Autumn Celebrations - Pumpkin cut 2" wide.
Classroom - October-November - Leaf is cut 1.25" wide.
Gypsy Wanderings - Autumn is cut 3.75" wide.

Cuttlebug - Swiss Dots is used on the cream paper inside the folded frame.

I hand cut the corner papers of the card.

Challenges:
Cardz TV  - Ch 2 Fall icons --I used a pumpkin and leaves.
Die Cuttin Divas - Ch. 235 Anything Goes
Little Scrap Pieces  - Saturday Linky party
Sisterhood of Crafters - The Pumpkin Patch - Use a pumpkin

Sweet Hoilday Wishes

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Thanks to a couple of my favorite card challenges, I have made my first Christmas card for this year. Never too early to get started, I guess. Christmas season will soon be here! Card is cut from Recollections cream cardstock and measures 5" x 6 1/2". Papers are from left over projects.

Cricut Cartridges:
Santa's Village - After seeing the new updates to Cricut Design Space, I was excited to try the adding patterns to image layer feature. Christmas Grandma with cookies is a print and cut image. It is cut 3" wide. I used the new pattern feature to change the color/pattern of the plate.
Baby Steps - Simple Elegant Frame is cut 4.68" x 3.42". I used only the smaller inside frame.
Winter Frolic - Phrase Sweet Holiday Wishes is cut 2.4" wide.

Challenges:
BBTB2 - Card or project with a cookie.

Welcome Back Fall

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Fall is back! I have been working on some Fall projects for my patio and it is not paper!! After several junking/antiquing trips for an old wooden ladder, I found one. The ladder was distressed and painted white. My friend cut the wooden letters for me. This is my decorated ladder! I am loving it!
Now to finish my decorating!

Hope to work with paper soon! Thanks for stopping by today!

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

It is time for another fun challenge at My Sheri Crafts! Design team sister Sue has chosen the theme for Challenge 166-Tic Tac Toe. I have selected to work with Column A down. This requires color brown, a butterfly, and ribbon. My card begins with buff cardstock and measures 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". Patterned papers are from Prima The Second Wind. Mat papers are from Craft Smith embossed paper pad.

Cricut Cartridges:
Kates's ABCs - Hat and butterfly net scene cut 4" wide x 2.5" high.
Cricut Font and Basic Shapes - Happy Birthday is cut 4" wide. This is used inside the card. I am always needing birthday cards.
