Happy World Card Making Day everyone!
Recently my Red Hat Sisters and I enjoyed a day of fun and shopping in the historic downtown district of our Main Street Community. At one of the shops we were greeted with a fabulous presentation of food and drinks. A little birdie told the lady we would be dropping by! That was so sweet of her!
Using a sketch from RAQ'S Inspirational Challenge 9/29-10/6, my card is a Thank You card for this friend! I enjoy doing fun cards with a Red Hat theme using Cricut cuts and Cuttlebug folders! I just received Cricut Create a Critter cartridge and knew the cow would be a perfect cut for a collector!
Cricut Cartridges:
Create a Critter- Cow cut 2 1/2 inches. This is my first cut using this cartridge and I found that Layer 1 and Layer 2 are reversed on the cuts. Hope other cuts are not this way! Finally cut a cow!!
Everyday Paper Dolls - Hat cut 3 3/4 inch.
Paper Doll Dress Up - Grass cut 1 1/2 inch; Fence cut 1 1/2 inch
A Child's Year - Sweet Balloon cut 4 inch in Red and handcut purple to go under it.
Lovely Floral---Another new cart! Thank you cut 2 1/4 inch in green and shift at the same size in red.Cuttlebug folders:
Swiss Dots - Hat
Diamonds in the Rough -- Purple background
Houndstooth - Fence
Martha Stewart: Ink and Daisy Dot Edge Punch (small flowers on background are the cutouts from a previous card)
Added a bow using DMC thread to tie the balloon to the cow's tail. Pop-dotted the fence.
