Welcome to Glenda's Cards!
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope your Monday is off to a good start!
At BBTB2, it is time for another fun and inspirational challenge. Our talented design team sister Rebekah is the hostess and she chose "Fashion Show" for the theme. We are asked to use any fashion themed cut from any Cricut cartridge on our card, layout, or project. Sounds fun, huh! Well, put your sunshades on and I will tell you about my card! How about Zebra flair and a Red formal dress!
Cricut Cartridge: Formal Occasion
Working with Cricut Class Room, I welded 2 frame layers to make this unique card shape. The card is welded at the top. The image is on page 25 and uses the frame layer on shift cut at 5". The card is cut from Colorbok white cardstock. Frame layer on shift is cut again at 5" using the zebra print paper by g.c.d. studios Swirls and Curves. Frame layer no shift is cut from Red Recollections paper for the red accent edging. I like the shape of the card with all the swirls and curves!
Page 25- Dress is cut 3" and pop-dotted on the card base.
Phrase "Winter Formal" is cut at 1.25". This uses 4 different cuts to get this look. I offset this a bit on the top edge of the card and glued it.
Cuttlebug: Swiss Dots used on the dress layers.
3 Girl Jam - Holly Berry crinkle ribbon for the bow.
Stop by BBTB2 and see all the amazing projects by the design team. For more details on the projects, please visit the individual blogs and leave some love for the designers! We love your visits and comments!
Now it is your turn to play along with us. Remember, this is a Cricut challenge and you must include a Cricut cut for the fashion theme of the challenge. Also, this is a new challenge and we ask that you do not submit any posts that have been posted on your blog before today's date Monday July 16.
We look forward to seeing your Fashion themed cards, layouts, or projects! Remember our Window challenge is still going on too. If you have not entered, we would love to see your window project!
