Welcome to Glenda's Cards!
Brrr! It has been cold in my area! Hope everyone is staying safe and warm with all the winter weather that is happening throughout the country. Staying inside has given me time to play with the Cricut Explore and Design Space. I have enjoyed playing with some of the free images that was available with the Explore purchase.
The white cardstock card measures 5"x 6 1/2". The pretty patterned paper is Paper Studio Pine St. Square from Hobby Lobby. I really did not need to buy more paper but I could not resist a few more Christmas and Winter pads. Being on sale just convinced me! Remaining papers are left over from other projects. This is my play with the sketch from Die Cuttin Divas.Cricut Cartridges:
Winter Frolic - cup
Cricut Craft Room Basics - 2 Oval mats
Country Life - Warm Wishes and shadow
Holiday Cakes - mittens
Cuttlebug Embossing folder Sledding is used on the white mat and the mat is pop-dotted on the card.
Lace and pearls are from my stash of supplies.
I am playing along with the following challenges:
Die Cuttin Divas - Ch.197 January Sketch Challenge
FCCB - Ch. 242 - Winter Fun. Always fun to have a cup of chocolate or coffee in winter.
The Shabby Tea Room - Ch. 243 Baby It is Cold Outside - Photo Inspiration

BBTB2 - Favorite Cricut Cut. Gosh, it is hard to choose a favorite cut. I do like tea cups and have made several projects including tea cups. However, there is one image cut that I love and use on each card that I make. You will not see it on the front, but can find it on the back of the card. It is the G monogram from A Child's Year. I use that as a personal touch! Then I write Glenda's Cards and add the year on the monogram.
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you enjoy my project!
Great card Glenda!

Great card. The red really pops and it is such a sweet combo of the sketch and the inspiration photo

This is so pretty. I have that same paper pad but I didn't use much of it. It never seemed to match what I was doing. The way you used it it's so bright and pretty. You are making me look at in a totally different way. Love this!
ReplyDeleteHi Glenda, your card is fabulous as always! I love that inspiration photo and I love your take on the sketch. You nailed it on both! I got this same stack and love it, who can resist new paper?!! Not me! lol It is very cold isn't it?! I hope we soon leave these North Poles temps!! I swear the older I get the less I like winter, and I used to love it. lol Glenda you said you linked up with BBTB2?? I haven't seen your card over there, so I'm not sure if you forgot to link up with us or if something is wrong on my end and I just can't see it. I love your favorite Cricut cut, and think that it is a fabulous idea! That is the perfect personal touch that is needed on the back of your beautiful cards. Hugs, Brenda
