Thinking of You!

I am playing along with RAQ's Card Challenge on the Cricut Messageboard this week. It has been awhile since I have been able to do so and I am enjoying these pretty sketches by Raquel. Card size is 5 X 6 1/2 inches. Using Sketch 1 and needing a birthday card, this is my results!
Cricut Cartridges:
Lacy Labels - Thinking of you and all four cuts for this design. This is the third key on 2nd row and the cut is 2 1/4 inches. Also for the inside, the label is cut at 3 1/4 inches using the first key on the third row.
Wild Card - Happy Birthday cut 6 3/4 inches.
Martha Stewart Doily Lace Trim, gemstones, corner cuts, and inking complete the look.

Hope you enjoy!

Thank You Card

This card is using Sketch 3 of  RAQ's Card Challenge on the Cricut Messageboard this week. I am using the same papers as will be on a birthday card. Two cards--two looks!  I am pleased with the results of the Thank You card.

Inside of card!

Cricut cartridges:
Lacy Labels - "Thanks" key for all the cuts..this is the 1st key on Row 3. The cuts were at 3 inches. However, I wanted the word Thanks to be a bit smaller in width so it is cut at 2 3/4 inches. Cut at 3 inches, the word extended onto the purple mat.
Wild Card - for the inside phrase "How Thoughtful" - cut 7 1/2 inches.
Cuttlebug Polka Dots embossing folder
Martha Stewart Topiary Edge Punch and inking

Hope the recipient will enjoy the card!

Flaunt It Fridays 3 Birds on Parade

Hi everyone! Welcome to another fun challenge at Flaunt It Fridays. Exciting news! We are having weekly challenges again!! This week we are flaunting the disguise bird on page 36 of the Cricut 3 Birds on Parade cartridge. For my project, I have altered a 4x6 photo album that I purchased from Walmart for one dollar. I was surprised at that low price for the mini album which holds 36 photos. My grandkids are always dressing up for different occasions and school events so I thought this would be a fun album for some of those photos.
Cricut cartridges:
3 Birds on Parade - Disguise bird cut at 3 inches. "playing dress up" is cut at 1 1/2 inches.
Lacy Labels - Scalloped oval mats cut at 4 inches. This key is the second from last on the last row.
Cuttlebug - Swiss dots
Matha Stewart inking. Paper is from scraps stash.

Be sure to check out the amazing projects by the talented members of the design team. Yo can go to each of their blogs from Flaunt It Fridays home page. We invite you to play along with us! Submit your paper project..card, scrapbook page, altered item. etc. Remember if you do not have this cartridge, you can use a similar cut from another cartridge. You have until midnight next Thursday to submit your project! Looking forward to seeing how you flaunt this little bird!

Spring Birthday Card

Card is 6 1/2 x 5. It is white cardstock and I covered the base with a pretty spring looking patterned paper. Martha Stewart Layered Arches punch was used on the lower edge of the paper. I placed a small piece of green paper under the punched edge.
Needing a Spring birthday card, I used the Cuttlebug Happy Birthday embossing folder on the pink mat. Then I run the white mat through the same Cuttlebug folder trying to line it up with the words on the pink mat. I am pleased with the results of the embossing.
Cartridges:
Walk In My Garden - Rose cut  3 inches
Lacy Labels - White and Green mats cut at 4 inches. This is the last key on the keypad called "Hugs". I only used the mat cuts.
Home Accents - "Corner 1" cut 1 1/2 inches. Two of the cuts were cut using the flip function on my Expression.
Wild Card - inside sentiment - "Love and Joy to you" cut at 7 inches. Was unable to load the photo of the inside.
Martha Stewart inking, MS bow, and buttons in the corners complete the card.

Challenges:
My Sheri Crafts - #50 Spring
Die Cuttin' Divas - #7  Spring - gardening cut
Cricut Cardz Challenge - card for Spring - pink, green and white only
Birthday Sundaes -- Spring Birthday

I will add this card to the Linking party going on at Passionately Artistic.
