Easter Cards - Part 1

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Time seems to be flying! Where did the first three months of the year go! Easter is almost here and I have been working on Easter cards. These cards were made for younger children.
Cards are white cardstock and are layered with a polka dot paper from DCWV Fresh Floral Stack. Solid papers are from the scrap stack. Some cards are 4" x 5 1/2" and some are 41/4" x 5 1/2".

Cricut Cartridges:
Create A Critter2 - Brown rabbit, pink rabbit, basket with grass, Phrase Egg Hunt, patch of grass, eggs that are on the purple card.
Easter Magic - Eggs on the yellow card and green card.

I used Create a Critter2 for the phrase Happy Easter which was used on the inside of cards..failed to take a photo.

Challenges:
BBTB2 -  Bunny Rabbit
Fantabulous Cricut - Ch. 248 Easter
CARDZ TV - Ch. 6 Easter
Die Cuttin Divas -  Ch. 209 Anything Goes

Simple cards but I hope the children will like them!

A Framed Bunny

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Hope you are having a nice day! We have had some gorgeous days in my neck of the woods, but rain is forecast tomorrow! I enjoyed being in the sunshine for the past two days...did not enjoy the weeding in the flowers beds, but it had to be done. Also I cut grass yesterday. I decided to take a break today and play with my Explore. I am enjoying the free subscription to Cricut Design Space. Thank you Cricut!

This card will be entered into some favorite challenges. Card is white cardstock and measures 5" x 6 1/2". Patterned paper is K&Company and white is Colorbok. This is my play with the pretty sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. White cardstock for the mat is hand cut 4.75" x 3.25". Martha Stewart Pop Up Butterflies is used for one edge.

Cricut Cartridges:
Teresa Collins Easter Basket - Egg is cut 4" h.
Teresa Collins Bunnies & Chicks - Bow is cut .75"wide
Create A Critter2 - Rabbit is cut 1.8" h. I chose to frame the rabbit inside the egg.
Holiday Cakes - Happy Easter is cut 2.22"w 1.4"h.

CardzTV - Ch. 6 Easter
Die Cuttin Divas - Ch. 209 Anything goes

Music card

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

I was able to play with my Cricut Explore this afternoon after several days of being away from home. My Mom had knee replacement last Tuesday and I stayed at the hospital with her. Surgery went well and she is improving daily. She is now doing more therapy closer to our home.
I missed playing along with some of my favorite challenges last week. This card is 5" x 6 1/2" cut from green cardstock. Patterned papers are The Paper Studio Girls Live to Rock.

Cricut Cartridges:
Elegant Edges - Circle Frame is cut 3" wide from a yellow sheet of the Paper Studio pad. There are shades of yellow on the frame. Because I wanted to place the frame on the patterned mat, I handcut the pink paper for the black out of the frame.
Nifty Fifties - Record group is cut 2.25"h. Cuttlebug Script folder is used on the small yellow piece on the record for a little dimension...not seen well in my photo.
When I Was a Kid - I (heart) music is cut 2.25" w. Music scale at top of card is cut 1.45" w. Music Note on right hand side of card is cut 1"h.

Challenges:
BBTB2 - Cricut Frame
Die Cuttin Divas - Ch. 208 Music in our Schools--Project with music in mind

Hope you enjoy this bright, cheery, musical card! Thanks for your visits!
