Anna's Garden Flourish Card

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

This is a pretty card image found on Cricut Anna's Garden Cards and Embellishments. The card is cut from white Colorbok cardstock and the red paper is Recollections. Card is cut 9.96" wide x 7" high. It is called Flourish Card on the cartridge. I think this is such a pretty cut! I chose not to add any images to the face of card. It is a get well card to be mailed.

Inside the card, I used one of the pretty sayings found on the same cartridge. I used the Write feature with the Cricut Explore to write the sentiment on the white mat. The flourish is found on Cricut Elegant Embellishments.

I like this card so well that I wanted one in pink!

Solid pink paper is DCWV The French Country Stack and the patterned paper is from Paper Studio Country Road.

Anna Griffin Card

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

My card is inspired by a beautiful Anna Griffin card featured in Cricut Design Space Make It Now. It is called Anna Griffin Garden Butterfly Card Layout. My card is cut from Colorbok Pearlescent Paper Pack. All the papers (excluding the blue under the flowers) are pearlescent, but my camera did not do justice to those papers.

Cricut Cartridges:
Anna's Garden Cards and Embellishments-- Card is 5" x 7". I used the Make It Now feature. My Cricut had trouble cutting the butterfly that is shown with the card---kept tearing the papers. After a few attempts, I chose another butterfly from the same cartridge. Flowers and ferns are also from this cartridge.
Sophisticated Soiree - Chain Label for sentiment. Only one label is cut using the Make It Now instructions. I cut two labels using different colors-- ivory is 3.26" wide and the green is cut 3.50" w.
Words that are shown on front of the featured card are not given in the cuts. I chose to use Life is a Journey, and love is what makes that journey worthwhile. The sentiment was printed on the label using the midnight pen.

Flowers, butterfly and label are pop-dotted on card. An ivory crinkle ribbon bow is added to complete the card. My card does not look like the featured card, but I am pleased with the results. Each of us add our own personal touch!

I am sharing this at the following challenges:
Die Cuttin Divas - Ch. 216 Water a Flower Day -include a flower
FCCB - Ch. 251 May Flowers

A Floral Card

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

I have been playing with some images from a new Anna Griffin cartridge. Sadly at times we need to make a sympathy card. I wanted something pretty but not a lot of images.

Cricut Cartridge
Anna's Garden Cards and Embellishments- Card is cut 7" high from white Colorbok. It measures 5" x 7" and the floral image cuts well. The pretty liner paper is from The Paper Studio Country Road. I added the Thinking Of You sentiment from the cartridge by using the Write feature on a piece of white paper. I like the way this was written. Below photo shows a portion of the sentiment mat.

I will share this card in the following challenges.

Die Cuttin Divas - Ch 216 Water a Flower Day - must include a flower

Happy Birthday Frog!

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Monday was a very rainy day around my neck of the woods! Thankfully we were not in the hardest hit areas receiving 6" to 10" rain. My thoughts and prayers go out to those folks.
My Cricut machine was busy working on a birthday card for a young boy. Card measures 5" x 6 1/2" white cardstock. Patterned papers and the white papers are Colorbok. I was inspired by the current challenge at BBTB2 to play with a frog!
Cricut Cartridges:
Disney Pooh and Friends - Balloon is cut 3" high.
Doodlecharms - Birthday hat is cut .78" wide, 1.07" high. I thought the little frog needed a hat!
Gypsy Wanderings - Happy birthday is used inside and cut 4.25" wide.
Paper Doll Dress Up - Frog is cut 3" high. We have so many green frogs around my house. One night recently, I was actually frog hunting in my kitchen...thought I never would get that green jumping critter outside! This Cricut frog image seemed best suited for my little fella!
Plantin Schoolbook - White oval is cut 3.17" wide, 4.22" high.
Something to Celebrate- Celebrate Banner is cut 3.75" wide.

Cuttlebug:
Swiss Dots - Balloon
Happy Birthday - White oval mat. The white oval mat is on an Action Wobble...just a bit more fun for the birthday boy! I was unable to get a photo of the wobble on the card. Each time I tried to capture the movement, the mat would be in place again.

Just a Note -- When I searched for Frog in the Cricut Explore Image search, the frog on Paper Doll Dress Up did not show up. I noticed the frog later while looking through the PDDU cartridge.

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

It is time again for another fun challenge at My Sheri Crafts and it is my turn to choose the theme. For Challenge 157, I have chosen It's Graduation Day. I am asking that you make a graduation or school related card or project.
Gosh, where did the school year go! And where has so much time gone! I cannot believe my granddaughter is graduating this year! It seems like just a few days ago, she was starting kindergarten!

Cricut Cartridges:
Simple Everyday Cards -  Using class colors, the card is cut 8.5" x 5.5" from a blue cardstock. Liner is cut from white and a handcut piece of gold paper is added at the bottom behind the words. The envelope was also cut from the gold paper.

Cricut Alphabet - 2015 is cut .75" high.
Wild Card - Class of is cut 3.5" wide
