Colorbok white and Recollections blue papers are also used on card. Card measures 5" wide x 7" high.

Red/ Purple Red Hat Lady

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

I am back with a pretty card for a Red Hat Lady! When the card first became available at Dreaming Tree, my thoughts turned to Red Hat Lady! I finally found time to play with this wonderful design.
Papers are Recollections, The Paper Company, and Colorbok. Of course in Red Hat Society fashion, colors are red and purple.

The Dreaming Tree - High Heel Greeting Card measures 5" high x 3.5" wide. A big Thank You to Leo and team for this awesome freebie design.  I will be making this design again. I am sure when the Red Hat Ladies see the card, each lady in our group will want one!

Cricut Cartridge:
Font is Chloe for the words Happy Birthday.  I was unable to get the provided font in the svg file to work correctly....probably something that I did wrong.

I added extra flower cuts to be able to use red and purple for the flowers. Purple rhinestones applied to flowers on card.

I love the results of the card! Hope you enjoy! Thanks for your visits and comments!

Dresser Step Card

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Today I am sharing a Dresser Step Card. This is another card style that my friend Cathy challenged me to do. I have made this card style before and was glad to make the card for a little girl this time. Many tutorials are available on Pinterest if you would like to try it also.

Cricut Cartridges:
Baby Steps - Baby Girl Outfit on Hanger is cut 2.008" wide x 4.283" high. Bib is cut 1" wide x 1.31" high. First Year is cut 2.798" wide x 1.071" high.
The First Few Years - Label Classic 2 is cut .75" wide x 2.25" high. I cut three images at this size to be used as the drawers.
Inside the card:
Anna's Window Frame Cards - Happy birthday is written with Cricut Pink Crystal pen on a 2.5" wide x 2.75" high rectangle.
Let's Eat Some Cake - Candle is cut .589" wide x 3" high.
Sorry I failed to take photo of the inside of card.

Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder used on the white mat.
Martha Stewart edge punch was used on left lower edge of card.

I added a white crinkle ribbon, pink heart brads on the drawers, and small flowers with white pearls that have been in my stash for a long time.

Hope you enjoy! Thanks for your visits and comments!

Red Hat Lady Birthday Card

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!
I am happy to see the challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas celebrating Red Hat Society Day this week. Needing a birthday card for a Red Hat Lady, this is the perfect challenge! I have belonged to a group for many years now. I enjoy the fun dining outings and travel with the Ladies!
I am playing along with Melissa's pretty sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches this week. Congrats on 500th Sketch challenge! It took awhile to decide on what to use on the sides. Noticing the Martha Stewart Gifts Edge Punch sitting on a shelf and realizing that I had never used this punch (like so many others), I gave it a try. I do like the results!

Cricut Cartridges:
Anna's Window Ledge Cards - Card is cut 7" wide x 10" high from Recollections Purple cardstock.
Using Insert shapes - Square is sized to 6.75" x 4.85" and cut from Red Hat Society paper.
White mat is cut 6.75" wide x 2" high.
Anna's Sophisticated Soirees - Flourish Label is cut 2.5" wide x 1.582" from purple paper. To make a shadow using the red paper, the label is cut 2.6" wide x 1.682" high.
Anna's Elegant Embellishments 2 - Phrase "make a Wish" is printed with the Cricut Midnight pen on the purple label.
Forever Yours - Hat is cut 3.5" wide x 1.723" high from The Paper Company red double-sided paper. This paper has a pretty fiber texture in it..may not be noticeable in photo.

For added dimension, the hat is pop-dotted on the card. I added D.L.ART red/white twine that I won from her blog. Red and Purple Sequins are from a win at SpiegelMom Scraps. Thanks to both of you for the wins!

Fantastic Flip Card 9 Congratulations

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

I have a Flip Card to share with you today. Papers are from Anna Griffin Pastel Meadow pack. Card measures 5" x 7".

Cricut Cartridges:
Anna's Fantastic Flip Cards - Oval Card #M165847A is cut 11.049" wide x 6.919" high from the double-sided floral and solid Anna Griffin paper.
Large solid pink oval and outside patterned oval are each cut 3.295" wide x 4.58" high. Measurement for the three layers of the smaller oval on front of card are 2.413" wide x 3.589" high. Also the ovals inside the card are cut at same size. Pink and green banner is cut 2.5" wide x 1.226" high.
Sentiments are written on the ovals with the Cricut Midnight pen.
Butterflies are Print and Cut images. These were in my stash of print and cut images and I failed to record size. Two larger butterflies are cut with one on reverse. The two are glued together so that when card is opened, the butterfly is seen.
